Make your own game

Teddy Trail was built by Noah Taylor with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Teddy Trail opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Teddy Trail

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a small first-person 3D exploration game titled “Teddy Trail,” viewed through the eyes of a child inside a teddy-bear disguise. Use a warm, simplified low-poly/primitive art style with soft lighting, shadows, fog, and pastel colors. The player is a first-person character whose starting position is inside a large bedroom/house, with a blue sky-colored background visible above the walls and a strong teddy-suit visual effect around the screen: darkened brown vignette edges, rounded fuzzy-looking brown shapes intruding at the upper corners and bottom edge, subtle scan lines, and a warm blurred tint, making the view feel like looking out through a costume head.

Build one connected walkable slice that leads from the bedroom through a hall toward a kindergarten school gate. The floor is medium brown wood. Surround the interior with pale cream walls and simple box geometry. At the back of the bedroom place a dark brown door with a small yellow/gold knob. Include a bed on the left with a dark wood frame, pink mattress, and light pillow; a blue rug; a brown dresser with three pink drawer fronts; and a desk with a raised top. Near the desk, place a blue backpack with a small yellow pocket. A divider wall creates the hall, and farther ahead is the exterior/school approach: a blue school wall, a dark gate, a yellow sign, and a row of simple trees made from brown cylindrical trunks and green spherical canopies. Keep the environment sparse and toy-like, matching the visible primitive geometry rather than adding detailed furniture or extra systems.

Near the bed, place a teddy disguise/character prop: a brown bear-shaped figure with a rounded body, head, two round ears, and a small dark nose. Also attempt to load/display a stylized teddy avatar model at the same location if external assets are available, but the game should remain playable if it fails to load. The player does not visibly hold weapons or use inventory; the core activity is walking through the environment and advancing a short family-morning dialogue.

Use first-person controls: WASD or arrow keys to move, mouse to look, and dragging on touch devices to look. Support Shift to run, and basic jumping if available in the movement controller. Add mobile-friendly interaction through a large bottom-center rounded gold “Talk” button. Pressing E, Enter, or the Talk button advances dialogue. Each interaction displays a rounded dark translucent dialogue caption near the bottom of the screen and a centered fuzzy/muffled “muffled…” or “speaking nearby…” indicator. Cycle through these exact lines and speakers in order: Kid: “Mmmph… can you hear me? I am inside my teddy disguise!”; Mom: “Your backpack is by the desk, sweetie. Check both straps.”; Kid: “I found it! The hallway feels huge from in here.”; Dad: “Shoes on, then we walk together to kindergarten.”; Kid: “Okay! Teddy mode is ready. Let’s go!”; Mom: “Stay where we can see you, and use your normal voice when you take the head off.”; Kid: “I can see the school gate! Mission: morning drop-off.” Show the speaker and text in the caption. The caption and talk indicator fade away a few seconds after appearing. Play a quiet muffled speech effect using browser speech synthesis when possible, with a slightly higher pitch, slower rate, and low volume; play soft low thumps as footsteps while moving when audio is available.

Include a top-left status pill that changes based on the player’s forward position: “Inside the house · Teddy mode” while inside, “Walking to the school gate · Teddy mode” in the approach, and “At kindergarten · Teddy mode” after reaching the gate. Include a desktop top-right hint reading “WASD / arrows to move / Mouse or drag to look · Shift to run / E or the button to talk”; hide that hint on coarse touch devices. Use a bright blue-gray sky/background, warm directional sunlight, ambient hemisphere lighting, fog in the distance, cast shadows, and a slightly cinematic tone-mapped appearance. There is no combat, score, health, timer, or win screen: the goal is simply to explore from the house to the kindergarten gate while using Talk to experience the dialogue.
