Make your own game

Taxi Rush was built by Katlego Oscar with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Taxi Rush opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a playable 3D arcade driving game titled “Taxi Rush.” Use a third-person chase camera positioned behind and slightly above a blue taxi/van, looking forward down a long straight highway. The player vehicle is a chunky low-poly blue van with a visible rear window, dark wheels, rear red lights, and simple blocky geometry; place it near the bottom of the screen and keep it at a fixed forward position while the road and traffic move relative to it.

Set the scene in a bright, sparse Johannesburg-to-Soweto countryside landscape: a pale blue sky with atmospheric fog, flat green grass extending to the horizon, and tan/brown road shoulders. Build a wide dark charcoal asphalt road stretching far into the distance. Mark it with repeated short pale-yellow dashed lane lines, with two lanes visible around the player, and add simple cream roadside reflector posts at regular intervals on both sides. Use soft directional sunlight, ambient hemisphere lighting, shadows, and a clean stylized low-poly look.

The core loop is endless forward driving and fare collection. The taxi automatically travels forward. Let the player steer horizontally between approximately three lanes, clamped to the road, using the left and right arrow keys (and optionally A/D only if mapped consistently). Use the up arrow as throttle and down arrow as brake; throttle raises the target speed and brake lowers it, while the vehicle continues moving without input. On touch screens, show large translucent controls at the bottom: left and right arrow buttons on the left, and BRAKE plus an up-arrow/gas button on the right. Prevent the camera from rotating freely; smoothly follow the taxi’s lateral movement and look down the road.

Place several simple AI traffic vehicles ahead at different distances, alternating yellow taxis and plain vans, occupying the road lanes. They should move relative to the player at slightly varied speeds and recycle back ahead after passing behind the player, creating an ongoing traffic stream. If the player’s vehicle gets close to traffic both laterally and longitudinally, trigger a crash/game-over state and stop the vehicle. There does not need to be a separate elaborate crash animation or visible game-over screen; allow pressing gas or brake to reset the run, returning the taxi, traffic, and fares to their initial positions.

Place seven glowing golden fare pickups as thick torus/ring shapes hovering slightly above the road, alternating between the two lane positions and spaced along the road. Rotate them continuously. When the taxi passes close enough to a visible ring, hide/collect it and award 50 currency points. Recycle rings after they pass the player so the run can continue. Also award a small passive fare increase continuously while driving, about 2 points per second. Display the score as a whole-number rand amount.

Use a minimal fixed HUD over the 3D view. In the upper-left, show a dark translucent rounded card with the bold uppercase title “TAXI RUSH” and the route subtitle “Johannesburg → Soweto.” In the upper-right, show another dark translucent rounded card labeled “FARE RUN” with a large value such as “R 56.” At the bottom center on desktop, show the hint “WASD / arrows to drive · stay left · collect fares” (the actual arrow controls must work); on mobile place the control buttons along the bottom and keep the hint just above them. Match the screenshot’s polished presentation: rounded glassy dark HUD cards, white typography, subtle shadows, wide cinematic 16:9 framing, and the taxi large in the lower-left/center foreground while the road converges toward the horizon.
