Make your own game

Sunset Angler was built by munther alsubaie with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Sunset Angler opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Sunset Angler

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Recreate “Sunset Angler” as a small, calm third-person 3D fishing game set at Pineglass Lake during sunset. Use a soft stylized low-poly aesthetic with warm peach/orange sunset lighting, a purple upper sky fading through pink to pale gold near the horizon, subtle atmospheric fog, soft shadows, and a mostly uncluttered composition. The camera should follow the player from behind in a third-person perspective, with a perspective field of view around 55 degrees and a follow distance of roughly 7 units.

Build the environment as a simple square grassy island/shore around a lake: a broad dark muted-green ground plane, a sandy tan shoreline strip, and a large semi-transparent blue-gray lake surface extending into the background. Place a narrow wooden dock extending from the shore toward the lake, made from repeated warm brown planks, with two low wooden side rails and vertical support posts. Add a few small glowing lanterns on wooden posts along the dock. Include a simple stylized wooden rowboat off to one side in the lake, with a chunky hull and seat. Decorate the shore with several low-poly pine trees and a couple of rocks.

The player is a simple low-poly fisher standing near the landward end of the dock: a small blocky body in a dark teal shirt, spherical peach skin head, golden/tan cylindrical brimmed hat, and a short brown fishing rod angled forward from one hand/body side. The fisher can walk around using WASD or arrow keys; support touch/mobile play through the on-screen cast button. Keep movement third-person and casual, with no combat or enemies. The player starts at approximately the dock entrance, while the intended objective message is “Walk to the end of the dock, then cast.”

Implement the core fishing loop exactly: begin with Fish: 0 and Bait: 6. Press Space or tap the “CAST LINE” button to cast. If bait remains, consume one bait and create a visible pale fishing line running from the rod/player out over the dock and water to a bright coral-red bobber floating near the far end of the cast. Show the bobber gently bobbing vertically. Display the message “A line on the water… wait for a tug.” Wait a random interval of about 2.4–5.4 seconds. Once the interval expires, change the message to “TUG! Press CAST LINE now!” and make the bobber glow more intensely. Press cast again before the bite expires to increment Fish by one, remove the bobber and line, and show “Nice catch! The lake approves.” If the player waits too long and presses after the bite deadline, remove the fishing visuals without adding a fish and show “The fish got away — cast again.” Each cast uses one bait. When bait reaches zero, prevent casting and show “You are out of bait. A peaceful day to watch the sunset.” There is no explicit win screen, health, timer, ammunition beyond bait, or enemy system.

Use a fixed HUD layered over the 3D scene. In the upper-left, show a translucent dark purple rounded panel with the bold title “Sunset Angler” and subtitle “A quiet evening on Pineglass Lake.” In the upper-right, show a compact translucent panel reading “Fish: 0” and “Bait: 6,” updating the numbers live. At the bottom center, show a translucent rounded message panel containing the current instruction/status. At bottom-left show the hint “WASD / arrows to stroll · Space to cast · tap Cast on mobile.” At bottom-right show a prominent rounded pale-yellow button labeled “CAST LINE.” Use white text, warm cream accents, translucent blurred dark-purple panels, rounded corners, and soft shadows. On narrow/mobile screens hide the bottom-left hint, move the message above the button, and keep the title/stats inset from the edges. The overall mood should be quiet, warm, and uncluttered: a brief interactive sunset fishing vignette focused on walking to the dock and timing the cast on the tug.
