Make your own game

Street Lines was built by teegan with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Street Lines opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Street Lines

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a browser-playable 3D third-person skateboarding game titled “Street Lines.” Use Three.js or an equivalent real-time 3D engine. The scene has a very dark navy background with atmospheric fog, a large blue-gray rectangular skatepark ground, soft sky/hemisphere lighting, warm directional sunlight, shadows, and a clean low-poly/blockout visual style with muted blue-gray and orange materials.

Place the camera behind and above a player skater in a third-person follow view. The player starts near the front edge of the park at approximately the center (world position 0, 0, 8), standing on a skateboard. Use a simple blocky character model and skateboard model if available; otherwise use recognizable low-poly substitutes. Add a soft circular shadow beneath the player. The skatepark should contain these visible rideable structures: an orange quarter-pipe/block on the left rear (roughly x=-6, z=-4), an orange bank on the right rear (x=6, z=-3), a low blue-gray center ledge (x=0, z=1.5), a blue-gray manual pad toward the left/front (x=-4.5, z=5), and three metallic pale-blue rails: a high rail near the rear center (x=0,z=-3.5), a low rail at the right/front (x=4,z=3) rotated perpendicular to the first, and a flat rail at the left/middle (x=-5,z=1). Give the rails cylindrical horizontal bars with two supports.

The core loop is free skating and scoring a line. The game begins idle with a prominent cyan rounded “Start skating” button centered along the bottom. Clicking it, or pressing Enter/Space before starting, begins the run and hides the button; show a brief orange pill notification reading “LINE STARTED.” Movement uses WASD or arrow keys to ride, Space to ollie/jump, and Shift to push faster. Use a third-person controller with movement speed around 5.8, jump speed around 8.8, gravity around -24, and a slope limit around 48 degrees. Keep the player moving around the skatepark and over ramps/rails.

Award points through the on-screen score: start at “0 pts.” When the moving player is near a rail while airborne/above the ground, award 10 points at most every half second and briefly show an orange notification “GRIND +10.” Press Q to trigger a backside 180 worth 150 points and show “BACKSIDE 180 +150”; press E to trigger a frontside 360 worth 200 points and show “FRONTSIDE 360 +200.” Apply a short 1.2-second trick cooldown so Q/E cannot repeatedly score immediately. Show the score in a dark translucent rounded panel at the upper left, with cyan uppercase “STREET LINES” title and large bold white point text. Notifications appear near the top center and fade out quickly.

Add a desktop help panel at the upper right reading exactly or equivalently: “WASD / arrows: ride / Space: ollie / Shift: push faster / Ride over rails and ramps for points.” Hide this help panel on coarse/touch pointers. Include the visible “Legal ISO handoff” panel below it/right: explain that the user may choose a personally owned ISO, that the browser can receive the file but cannot execute Xbox 360 software or emulate Skate 3; provide an ISO file chooser accepting .iso files and display “No ISO selected” initially. After selection, display the filename and size in GB and a brief notification that the original game is still running. This is only a file-selection/status UI and must not execute or emulate the ISO.

Style the HUD with dark translucent navy panels, subtle light borders, rounded corners, cyan accent text, white typography, orange scoring notifications, and a cyan start button with dark text. Keep the screen full viewport with no page scrolling. Make the layout responsive for mobile, retaining the start button near the bottom and using touch-compatible controls if the engine provides them, while preserving the desktop keyboard controls. The goal is to freely skate, ollie, grind rails, and perform keyboard tricks to increase the point total in the skatepark.
