Nobody has said anything about Starfall Squadron yet. Play it, then tell the creator what you would add next.
Starfall Squadron was built with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix Starfall Squadron opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Create a fullscreen 2D vertical space-shooter called “Starfall Squadron.” Use a dark navy/black space backdrop with a subtle radial blue glow, about 90 small drifting stars, and a faint horizontal guide line around 72% of the screen height. Keep the canvas responsive to the viewport and support desktop and touch input. At the top-left show the cyan title “STARFALL SQUADRON.” At the top-right show “SCORE 0” and “LIVES 3,” updating during play. Center a temporary power-up status line below the top bar in yellow. Along the bottom center show the help text “Move: WASD / arrows / drag • Fire: Space or hold touch.” Before play, dim the game with a translucent blurred overlay and show a centered rounded rectangular mission card with a thin cyan border, dark blue gradient fill, and soft shadow. The card title is “STARFALL,” followed by: “Pilot a pocket interceptor, blast the incoming fleet, and catch power-ups before the screen fills with trouble.” Include a bright cyan-to-yellow pill-shaped “Launch Mission” button. Clicking/tapping the button starts a fresh mission. Pressing Enter while not running should also start it. The player is a small blue pocket-interceptor sprite near the bottom center. It can move freely in two dimensions with WASD or arrow keys, clamped within the play area (not too close to the HUD or bottom edge), and can also be positioned by dragging/pointer movement on the canvas. Hold Space or hold touch to fire continuously. The normal weapon fires one vertical blue laser upward roughly every 0.22 seconds. Lasers travel quickly upward and disappear outside the screen. Spawn red and green alien enemy sprites from random horizontal positions just above the top edge. They descend with a speed starting around 65–110 pixels/second and increasing slightly with level; they also drift horizontally and sway. Occasionally enemies fire small glowing pink vertical bullets downward. A second enemy may spawn occasionally as the level rises. If enemies pass below the bottom, remove them and subtract one life. If the player collides with an enemy or enemy bullet, subtract one life, unless temporarily invulnerable. Start with 3 lives. Give the player a brief invulnerability period at mission start and after damage, represented by blinking/flickering visibility. On damage, show a burst of colored square particles; also show bursts when enemies are hit or destroyed. End the mission when lives reach zero. A laser hit should destroy a one-hit enemy, add 100 points, and create a pink explosion burst. There is an 18% chance for a destroyed enemy to drop a falling collectible. Collectibles descend slowly and use three distinct sprites/types: a blue star “spread” power-up, a yellow star “rapid” power-up, or a green pill “shield” power-up. Each lasts 8 seconds and should show its uppercase name and remaining seconds in the yellow power HUD. Spread changes firing to three simultaneous lasers angled slightly left, center, and right; rapid changes the fire cooldown to about 0.1 seconds; shield gives the player an 8-second cyan circular shield. A shield absorbs damage without consuming a life, creates a cyan burst, and briefly grants invulnerability. Remove power-ups when collected or when they fall offscreen. Increase the displayed level internally as 1 plus the integer score divided by 1000; use it to make enemy descent and firing somewhat harder, while retaining the simple endless survival structure. The only game-over outcome is a “MISSION LOST” overlay with text such as “Final score: [score]. Catch the power-ups and try a cleaner run.” and a “Retry Mission” button that resets score, lives, level, player position, enemies, bullets, power-ups, particles, and timers for a new run. Use a clean neon arcade presentation: cyan player/laser and shield accents, red/pink enemy danger and bullets, yellow collectible/status accents, crisp sprite-based visuals, subtle glow/shadow effects, and square particle debris. Include collision detection between player, enemy, lasers, enemy bullets, and collectibles. Do not add stages, bosses, pause controls, ammo, or other mechanics beyond this endless score-and-lives mission.
