Make your own game

Skybound Cap was built by Z Washington with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Skybound Cap opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Skybound Cap

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a browser-playable 3D third-person platforming game titled “Skybound Cap.” Use Three.js-style rendering with a bright cyan-blue sky background and light atmospheric fog. The camera should follow the player from behind in a third-person view, keeping the avatar centered while showing the floating level. Enable soft shadows, bright hemisphere fill light, and a warm directional sun.

The player is a simple cheerful mascot made from primitive 3D meshes: a red capsule-like body, blue boxy overalls, a peach spherical head, and a red cap made from a partial sphere with a red brim. Place the character initially on the large starting island near the center. Movement should support WASD and arrow keys, with analog/touch controls on mobile; Space jumps and Shift increases running speed. Use responsive gravity and jumping suitable for navigating separated floating platforms. If the player falls below the level, respawn them at the latest checkpoint.

Build a compact floating platform playground over the sky. Platforms are rectangular chunks with brown dirt sides and a thin green grass top, casting and receiving shadows. Arrange them as follows, using the first island as the starting area: a broad starting island at approximately (0,0,0), 18 by 16 units; a raised step platform around (8,2.2,-4), 5 by 5; another higher step around (14,4.7,-7), 5 by 5; a large elevated final “high garden” around (20,7.3,-4), 8 by 8; a side island around (4,3.2,8), 6 by 5; and a small isolated leap platform around (-6,2.5,-6), 4 by 4. The player must jump across gaps and avoid falling. Add a few low-poly/cartoon trees around the islands, including trees near the starting island, the raised steps, the high garden, and the small isolated platform.

Place exactly 12 collectible gold coins in visible routes across the platforms. They should be shiny/emissive gold torus-shaped coins that rotate continuously. Put four in a horizontal line across the starting island at roughly (-5,1.3,-1), (-2,1.3,-1), (1,1.3,-1), and (4,1.3,-1); two on the first raised step at (8,3.7,-4) and (8,3.7,-2); two on the second step at (14,6.2,-7) and (14,6.2,-5); three across the high garden at (18,8.8,-4), (21,8.8,-4), and (24,8.8,-4); and one on the side island at (4,4.7,8). When the avatar comes close, hide the coin and increment the coin counter.

Add three checkpoint flagpoles along the main ascent: one on the first raised platform at (8,2.2,-4), one on the second at (14,4.7,-7), and one on the high garden at (20,7.3,-4). Each is a small gray base and thin white pole with a rectangular gray flag. The current/latest checkpoint should turn green, previously reached checkpoints gold, and unreached checkpoints remain gray. Respawning should use the latest checkpoint, starting at the initial island before any checkpoint is reached.

Put one glowing pale-yellow emissive faceted star goal at approximately (20,9.5,-4), hovering above the high garden. It should rotate slowly. Collecting it hides the star, changes STARS to 1, and displays the completion message “Star secured! You cleared the sky garden.” The main objective is to collect coins, reach the star, and not fall; there is no combat or enemy system.

Create the HUD as a fixed overlay. In the upper-left, show a dark translucent rounded panel with bold text exactly like “COINS 0 / 12” and “STARS 0,” updating as items are collected. In the upper-right show a dark translucent rounded help panel reading “WASD / arrows to move,” “Space to jump · Shift to run,” and “Touch controls appear on mobile.” On mobile, show touch controls supplied by the control system. Before gameplay, show a full-screen blue-to-dark translucent overlay with a centered dark navy rounded card outlined in yellow. The card title is large yellow “Skybound Cap” with a red shadow, followed by: “A tiny 3D platforming playground inspired by classic mascot adventures — collect the coins, reach the star, and don't fall.” Include a yellow rounded PLAY button. Clicking PLAY hides the card and starts/resets the game. Support the R key as a reset/restart shortcut. Keep the visual style colorful, low-poly, friendly, and arcade-like, with no invented menus, weapons, health, timers, or enemies.
