Make your own game

ShrinkZone was built by Dylan with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix ShrinkZone opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for ShrinkZone

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a browser-playable 3D top-down mini battle royale titled “ShrinkZone Royale.” Use Three.js with a dark, atmospheric sci-fi arena viewed by a perspective camera from above and behind the player: the camera follows the player smoothly, positioned roughly 52 units high and 34 units behind, looking at the player. The square arena is 180×180 world units, with a deep navy ground plane, subtle blue grid, fog, soft shadows, and about 28 scattered low-poly rectangular crates/rocks in muted charcoal and blue-gray colors that act as solid cover and block bullets/line of sight. The player is a glowing pale-blue capsule character at the center, while 11 AI opponents are glowing red/pink capsule characters. Keep the visual style minimal geometric 3D, dark navy background, blue neon accents, and translucent glass-like HUD panels. Add a circular pale-blue safe-zone ring on the ground and a translucent blue storm tint outside it.

The objective is to eliminate all bots and be the last one standing; the player loses when HP reaches zero. Begin with a full-screen dark translucent instruction overlay titled “ShrinkZone Royale,” subtitle “You vs. bots. Safe zone shrinks. Stay inside.”, instructions for WASD movement, Shift sprint, mouse aim, left-click shooting, E pickup, Q medkit, R reload, and Esc pause, plus a “Drop In” button. Clicking the button starts or restarts the match; Esc toggles pause while playing. On elimination show “Eliminated” and “Press Drop In to restart.” On victory show “Winner Winner” and “You outlasted everyone.”

Implement these exact controls and mechanics: WASD moves the player on the XZ plane, with intuitive camera-relative/top-down movement; normal speed is 12 and Shift sprint speed is 17.5. Sprint consumes stamina and stamina regenerates while not sprinting. Mouse position projects onto the ground to aim, and the player faces the aim point. Holding left mouse fires an automatic weapon, with a 30-round magazine, 90 reserve rounds initially, roughly 10.5 shots per second, fast visible white projectile spheres, 17 damage per hit, and small recoil/spread that increases while moving. Press R to reload over about 1.15 seconds, transferring reserve ammo into the magazine; show a brief “Reloading...” and “Reloaded” toast, and show a warning when firing with an empty magazine. Projectiles travel quickly, live less than a second, collide with arena bounds, crates, and characters. Crates block bullets. Use a fixed crosshair at screen center made from a small white circle and horizontal/vertical lines.

Spawn 26 loot pieces randomly across the arena, each as a small glowing low-poly cylinder on the ground. About 75% are yellow/gold ammo pickups labeled “Ammo +30,” and about 25% are mint-green medkits labeled “Medkit +1.” Press E near the closest pickup within about 2.2 units to collect it, adding 30 reserve ammo or one medkit; show pickup toasts. Press Q to consume a medkit, healing 45 HP, only if HP is below full; start with 0 medkits. The player starts with 100/100 HP. Each bot has 70 HP, a 24-round magazine, and 60 reserve rounds. Bots roam to random positions generally inside the current zone, avoid crates through collision resolution, and pursue/fight the player when within about 42 units and with clear line of sight. They should aim with some inaccuracy, shoot more slowly/less accurately than the player, reload when empty, and steer toward a blend of the player and safe-zone center. Bots outside the zone should move faster toward safety. Dead bots disappear, and the Alive counter should count the player plus living bots.

Create a five-phase shrinking zone. Start centered at (0,0) with radius 70 and an 18-second hold. Then shrink over 18 seconds to radius 52, hold 16 seconds, shrink over 18 seconds to 36, hold 14 seconds, shrink over 16 seconds to 24, hold 12 seconds, shrink over 14 seconds to 14, hold 10 seconds, then shrink over 12 seconds to radius 8 and remain final. During shrinking, interpolate the radius smoothly and update the blue ring. Any entity outside the current circle takes 7.5 HP damage per second, including bots; include occasional subtle zone damage audio. Use UI labels for the zone state and radius, such as “HOLD • R=70.0” or “SHRINK • R=…”, and a “Next shrink” countdown in seconds. Show a toast and soft tone when shrinking begins.

HUD: place compact translucent rounded pills at the top-left in two rows. First row must display “HP 100”, “Ammo 30 / 90”, “Medkits 0”, and “Alive 12”; second row displays “Zone …”, “Next shrink …s”, and “Tips E pick up • Q heal • R reload.” Use pale blue-white text, subtle blue borders, blur/transparency, and a dark navy theme. Keep the crosshair centered. Add brief synthesized audio feedback using Tone.js (or equivalent): shooting, hits, pickups, healing, elimination, reload, empty weapon, and zone transition/damage tones, activated after the first click or key press to comply with browser autoplay restrictions. Include small bottom-center toast notifications such as “Find loot. Stay in the zone.”, “Picked up ammo (+30)”, “Picked up medkit (+1)”, “+45 HP”, “No medkits”, “Nothing to pick up”, “Eliminated a bot”, and “You got eliminated.”
