Make your own game

Room Refresh was built by line with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Room Refresh opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Room Refresh

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a cozy, polished 3D decorating game titled “Room Refresh.” Use a fixed perspective camera looking diagonally down into a small corner room: a warm wood-colored rectangular floor, off-white back and left walls, subtle peach trim/baseboard, a peach rectangular rug, and a simple blue-tinted window on the back wall. Light the scene softly with warm sunlight, ambient fill, shadows, and a gentle pastel interior-design aesthetic. Render the room with low-poly/stylized furniture models and soft, warm colors.

At launch, show a full-screen translucent warm cream overlay over the room. Center a rounded white/cream modal card with a soft shadow and thin beige border. At the top of the card show a potted-plant emoji, then the large dark title “Room Refresh,” followed by: “Give a sleepy little room a fresh start. Choose furniture, place it in the highlighted spots, and make the space feel finished.” Include a large rounded terracotta-orange button labeled “Start decorating.” The game does not begin until this button is pressed.

Once started, provide a HUD over the 3D scene. In the upper-left, show a rounded translucent cream brand panel with “Room Refresh” and the subtitle “make a space feel like yours.” In the upper-right, show two rounded statistic pills: coins starting at 120 and a sparkle score starting at 0/100. On the left below the brand, show a rounded “Today’s makeover” task panel with four checklist rows: “Place a comfy sofa,” “Add a coffee table,” “Light up the corner,” and “Bring in some green.” Each row has a circular check indicator; completed rows turn green/gray and gain a strikethrough.

At the bottom center, show a rounded translucent cream item tray. Its header says “Pick an item, then tap a glowing spot,” with a selection hint initially reading “Nothing selected.” Below it are six clickable item cards arranged in a row on desktop and a 3-by-2 grid on narrow screens: Sofa, Table, Floor lamp, Plant, Bed, and Ottoman. Each card has a simple furniture emoji/icon and label. Clicking a card highlights it with a raised state and border, changes the hint to “Selected: [item],” and displays a brief dark-green toast near the top saying “Tap the glowing [item] spot.”

The core mechanic is selecting the correct furniture card and then clicking the matching glowing placement marker in the 3D room. Show four softly pulsing orange/peach circular pads with bright rings on the floor: a sofa spot toward the left/front, a coffee table spot near the center, a lamp spot at the right/back corner, and a plant spot near the back wall/window. The pads gently rotate/wobble and pulse while visible. The four placement definitions are: sofa at approximately (-1.7, 0, -0.75), table at (0.15, 0, 0.1), floor lamp at (3.0, 0, -1.55), and plant at (2.0, 0, -2.45). Clicking a marker with no selection shows “Pick an item from the tray first.” Clicking the wrong marker shows “This spot needs a [required item].” Clicking an already filled marker shows “That spot is already styled.”

When the selected item matches the marker, instantiate and place the corresponding stylized furniture model in the room, hide that marker, mark that task complete, add 25 points to the score and 15 coins, clear the selection, and reset the selection hint to “Nothing selected.” Show the toast “Nice choice! +15 coins.” Use these furniture models: a lounge sofa, coffee table, round floor lamp, small plant, double bed, and sofa ottoman; only the sofa, table, lamp, and plant have matching room slots, while bed and ottoman remain optional-looking tray choices with no placement spots. The completion target is the four required pieces, reaching 100/100, then show the toast “Room complete! You made it feel like home ✨.”

Support pointer/touch interaction on the tray and room markers. Keep the camera fixed; there is no player character, walking, camera control, combat, timer, health, or other obstacle system. Use rounded cream UI panels, peach/terracotta accents, dark brown typography, soft shadows, and a calm welcoming home-makeover presentation. Ensure the underlying room remains visible but washed out through the intro overlay, matching the provided screenshot’s centered modal composition.
