Make your own game

Rooftop Rush was built by Daffa with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Rooftop Rush opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Rooftop Rush

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a browser-based 3D endless rooftop runner titled “ROOFTOP RUSH 3D” (brand: ROOFTOP RUSH, subtitle CITYLINE // SEASON 01). Use a third-person chase camera behind and slightly above a small futuristic runner, looking forward along a dark city rooftop route. The scene should be made from simple geometric 3D assets with a polished neon nighttime aesthetic: deep navy background and fog, dark blue-gray rooftop slabs with raised edge rails, glowing cyan accents, red/pink barriers, gold glowing coin rings, and tall dark city blocks on both sides. Use soft shadows, cool cyan rim lighting, warm directional light, bloom-like emissive materials, and a clean modern arcade presentation. The runner is centered on the route, represented initially by a cyan capsule-shaped body with a dark visor; if an animated humanoid model is available, it may replace the fallback after loading, but preserve the cyan futuristic look. The camera should smoothly follow the player, look down the route, and widen its field of view slightly as speed increases.

Build an endless/procedurally seeded run from consecutive rooftop sections. Start with a 7-wide rooftop, then generate roughly 21 more rooftop sections extending forward, each about 9 units deep with about 10 units between section centers, leaving small gaps that require jumping. Sections can shift between three lateral positions and can vary slightly in height, with x clamped to approximately -2.4..2.4 and y up to about 1.5. Add dark city blocks in the distance and at the sides for scale. Randomly place hazards on sections: red tall vault barriers, red low slide barriers, and cyan glowing wall panels on one side. Randomly place gold coin rings above/along rooftops, with up to two coin opportunities per section. Coins rotate, disappear when collected, and increase the run coin count.

The core game is an accelerating forward sprint. The player automatically moves forward; begin at speed 9 and increase based on distance up to speed 15. The player can steer among three practical lanes using A/D or left/right arrows; smooth the x movement toward lane targets at approximately -2.35, 0, and +2.35. Space or Up Arrow jumps with initial vertical velocity around 10.5 and gravity around 26; allow a brief coyote-time jump window. Shift or Down Arrow initiates/maintains a short slide/roll. E (and support Q as an alternate) performs a wall-run when airborne near a side wall panel, briefly slowing the fall and rising slightly. On touch devices provide left/right, SLIDE, and large JUMP buttons at the bottom, and support swipe left/right to dodge and swipe up/down for jump/slide. Prevent page scrolling during play.

Implement collision and failure rules faithfully: landing is only possible when over a rooftop section; falling below the route ends the run. A low red barrier is cleared by sliding. A tall red barrier is cleared by being high enough/vaulting over it while jumping. A wall panel can be cleared during a valid wall-run. Otherwise colliding with a hazard ends the run. Collect a coin when close in x/z and vertical range. Reward chaining distinct actions (jump, slide, wall, vault, coin) with a combo timer of about 2.2 seconds; repeated identical actions should not increase the combo, and let the multiplier rise in 0.5 increments up to x2.5-ish as the combo grows. Show brief glowing center-screen feedback such as “COMBO x…”, “CLEAN SLIDE”, and “VAULT”.

Use game states: main menu, active play, paused, and run ended. The main menu should be a centered rounded translucent navy glass card over the city background. It must visibly show the large two-line title “ROOFTOP” and cyan “RUSH 3D,” the description “A precision rooftop sprint through the city grid. Chain movement, collect coins, and stay ahead of the drop.”, control hint “WASD / arrows steer · Space jump · Shift slide · E wall-run · swipe to dodge,” a bright cyan-to-mint START RUN button, a dark outlined SETTINGS button, and persistent text for “PERSONAL BEST [distance]m · TOTAL COINS [count]”. Settings can display the lightweight message that adaptive quality is on and audio uses procedural feedback. Start should reset distance and current coins and generate a new route. Include lightweight procedural sounds for start, jumps, coin pickup, vault, and game over if supported.

During play, show a translucent top HUD: left DISTANCE with meters, centered ROOFTOP RUSH / CITYLINE // SEASON 01 branding, right COINS count, and a pause button marked with a pause icon. At the bottom show the touch controls (left/right, SLIDE, JUMP), which may be subdued on desktop. Escape or the pause button opens a centered PAUSED card saying “The city waits.” with RESUME and QUIT RUN. On failure show a centered RUN ENDED card with result text in the form “[distance]m · [coins] coins · best [best]m,” plus RUN AGAIN and MAIN MENU buttons. Persist personal best distance, total collected coins, and run count in local storage. Keep the overall visual tone dark, atmospheric, cyan neon, glass-panel UI, and responsive across desktop and mobile.
