Make your own game

Rocket Rickshaw was built by Dawud Junaid with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Rocket Rickshaw opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Rocket Rickshaw

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a mobile-first vertical 3D arcade driving game titled “Rocket Rickshaw: Desi Delivery.” Use a colorful, cartoonish, slightly retro low-poly style. The game is viewed from a high third-person chase camera behind and above a small rocket-powered auto-rickshaw, looking down a long straight road toward the horizon. The sky/background is bright cyan-blue with light fog. The road is a wide dark charcoal-gray strip with regularly spaced pale-yellow dashed center markings, bordered by thick saffron-orange sidewalks/road shoulders. Place colorful simple city buildings along both sides—cyan, yellow, pink, and other bright blocky buildings; if available, use Kenney-style retro urban/city building and truck models, otherwise use chunky box-shaped procedural buildings. The road should appear to scroll continuously toward the camera to create forward motion while the player vehicle remains near the bottom of the screen.

The player character is Raj, represented by a stylized procedural yellow-and-green auto-rickshaw near the bottom center. Build it from simple geometric parts: green lower body, yellow canopy/top and hot-food box, blue front windshield, a small visible brown-skinned head and red shirt inside, black wheels, and a red cylindrical rocket booster at the rear with a bright orange animated flame. Lean/tilt the rickshaw slightly while steering and make the flame pulse; make it grow during turbo. Keep the player constrained to horizontal movement across five lanes at approximately x positions -2.7, -1.35, 0, 1.35, and 2.7, with a smooth acceleration/deceleration steering response and a road boundary around x=-3.25 to 3.25.

Core loop: Raj repeatedly receives food delivery orders in the Local Neighborhood district. At the start of an order, spawn a rotating hot-food pickup bag ahead on a random lane. The order card says to pick up a named food from a named location. Available order varieties are Chai from Tea Stall (24-second timer, reward 70, heat loss 7.2/sec, loses heat fast), Samosa from Snack Cart (20 seconds, reward 85, heat loss 5.1/sec, quick delivery), Biryani from Biryani House (30 seconds, reward 135, heat loss 4/sec, big reward), Mango Lassi from Lassi Corner (22 seconds, reward 95, heat loss 4.8/sec, smooth run), and Paneer Butter Masala from Family Dhaba (29 seconds, reward 150, heat loss 3.8/sec, VIP tip). The first-time flow should show a full-screen start/story sequence: “Rocket Rickshaw / Desi Delivery,” then a Meet Raj story screen, then a First Mission Chai Delivery explanation, then a Tutorial Delivery screen. Each screen has a large emoji icon, title/subtitle, explanatory text, and a rounded action button. After the tutorial, begin gameplay.

When the player collides with the food bag, remove it, mark the order as carrying food, update the card to “Deliver [food] hot!” with the order tip, and spawn a glowing/bright-green delivery gate farther ahead on a random lane. The gate consists of two green posts and a pale-yellow horizontal sign. When the rickshaw reaches the gate while carrying food, complete the order, show a “DELIVERED HOT!” toast, award the base reward plus a heat-based bonus equal to roughly 55% of the reward scaled by remaining food heat, and add a streak bonus that scales with the current streak up to 35%. Increment delivered orders and streak, then immediately start the next order. Spawn several gold rupee coins around the rickshaw after delivery.

The continuously scrolling road should spawn hazards ahead every roughly 0.48–0.95 seconds, becoming slightly more frequent as more orders are delivered. Include three visible hazard types: green/gray boxy traffic trucks driving toward the player, dark flat circular potholes, and simple gentle cows made from white blocky body/head pieces with a black spot. Give obstacles random lanes and slight relative speeds. A collision damages the rickshaw: traffic/cows cause 24 damage and potholes cause 14 damage, reduce food heat by 7, reset the streak, and show a toast such as “DENT! FOOD SHAKEN” or “MOO-VE! +DAMAGE.” Passing very close without hitting gives a near-miss bonus of ₹10 once per obstacle and a “CLOSE CALL +₹10” toast. Remove obstacles after they pass the camera. Also spawn occasional gold rupee coins ahead on random lanes; collecting one gives ₹5.

Controls must work both on mobile and keyboard. On mobile, hold the transparent left half of the lower screen to steer left and the transparent right half to steer right. Provide a large round orange/yellow “HORN OK!” button at bottom center and a smaller blue “MASALA TURBO” button above the lower-right area. Keyboard controls are A/D or Left/Right arrows to steer, Space to honk, and Shift to boost. Honking has a roughly 3.1-second cooldown, displays “HORN OK!”, and pushes nearby obstacles sideways when they are within about 2.5 horizontal units and 9 depth units. Turbo has a roughly 1.05-second duration, displays “MASALA TURBO!”, increases forward scroll speed by about 1.55x, and makes the rocket flame larger; it also makes food lose heat somewhat faster while active.

Show a persistent mobile HUD over the 3D scene. At the top, use three dark translucent rounded chips for Rupees (₹ amount), Timer (seconds with one decimal), and Streak (xN). Beneath them show two labeled horizontal bars: Food Heat, initially 100% and decreasing according to the current order while driving, and Damage, initially low/zero and increasing on collisions. Put a pale-yellow/orange bordered order card centered below the meters, and use short centered toast notifications for pickups, deliveries, horn, turbo, collisions, and close calls. Use large tactile rounded buttons with drop shadows and a saturated purple-to-orange gradient full-screen overlay for story/start/failure screens.

Failure occurs when the order timer reaches zero (“Time ran out — the food got cold.”) or damage reaches 100% (“Rickshaw damage hit 100%.”). Stop the run and show a full-screen failure panel with a rocket-rickshaw emoji, “Delivery Failed,” the reason, the run’s earned rupees, a “Try Again” button, and a hint mentioning that the upgrade shop and more districts are ready for a future build. Resetting starts a new run with zero run earnings, zero damage and streak, clears obstacles and coins, and begins the current order sequence again. Keep the tone light, colorful, humorous, and arcade-focused; do not add an upgrade shop, extra districts, leaderboard, or additional events beyond what is described.
