Make your own game

Raid Night 51 was built by Zachary Bonifield with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Raid Night 51 opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Raid Night 51

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a playable 3D third-person arcade stealth/collection game titled “Raid Night 51,” set during a parody Area 51 raid on September 20, 2019. Use an original, non-copyrighted parody presentation. The player is a small raider in a spacesuit, viewed from a high over-the-shoulder camera that follows behind and above the character, looking toward the desert base. The scene is a moonlit desert at night: broad sandy terrain, dark navy sky with stars, soft fog, a distant hovering saucer, blue beacon lights, and a dark asphalt access road running through the base. Use simple stylized low-poly/asset-pack-like 3D visuals with strong colored emissive lighting: cyan/blue beacons and specimen displays, red laser beams, and a purple glowing escape portal.

The playable area is a bounded rectangular desert compound. Start the player just outside the southern entrance at approximately the center of the map, facing north, at full Health 100 and Sprint 100. Build the compound with perimeter fences, four dark observation towers at the corners, a gate house near the south entrance, a north-west hangar, an east hangar, and a large laboratory/storage block at the northern end. Scatter wooden crates, rocks, and a few alien specimen props around the compound. Include a front gate sign reading “AREA 51,” “SEPTEMBER 20, 2019,” and “Definitely Normal Storage.” The player collides with the buildings and perimeter boundaries.

Core objective: infiltrate the base, collect all five floating, glowing parody anomalies, then reach the purple glowing ring portal positioned at the far north end beyond/near the lab. The portal is dim and small before all artifacts are collected; after all five are recovered it becomes brighter, larger, and pulses/rotates. Entering it with every artifact wins the game. The five collectibles and their fixed locations are: “Rhinestone Legend” (a golden cone-like object in cold storage) near the north-west area; “West-Coast Hologram” (a purple glowing rectangular/cassette-like object) near the east hangar; “Shark Storm 7 Reel” (a cyan disk) near the central/southern gate-house area; “Space Saga X Script” (a green rectangular object) in the west-central base; and “Zombie Co-op 3 Disk” (a pink/red disk) in the northern lab area. Make each object hover, spin, glow, and show a floating label when the player is within roughly 7 meters. Collect automatically when within roughly 1.25 meters: hide the object and its glow, increment the recovered count, play a pickup sound, and show a toast such as “Recovered: [artifact].”

Add three moving alien patrols using cute stylized alien character models or equivalent original characters. One patrol loops around the gate/central area, one loops across the lab’s south side, and one follows a route around the eastern side. They visibly walk around their waypoint loops and have subtle translucent cyan vision-cone indicators. Contact with a patrol continuously damages the player for about 22 health per second and pushes the player away. Add two horizontal red alarm lasers that sweep back and forth across the base, one around z=-5.4 and another around z=-15.2; touching a beam damages about 35 health per second and can produce a laser sound. Health reaching zero loses the game. Also track a base alarm meter: while the player is inside the central compound it rises gradually, and once full it causes additional ongoing damage. Do not add weapons or combat; the challenge is movement, timing, collecting, and escaping.

Controls must work on desktop and mobile. WASD and arrow keys move in four directions. Shift or Space activates sprint/boost while moving. Sprint raises movement speed from roughly 4.4 to 8.2 but drains stamina at about 32 per second; stamina regenerates at about 20 per second when not boosting. Include a large translucent circular virtual joystick in the lower-left for mobile movement and a rounded “BOOST” button in the lower-right. Normalize diagonal movement and smoothly rotate the player toward travel direction. Keep the player within the desert bounds and prevent walking through the hangars, lab, gate house, and compound walls.

HUD/UI: use dark translucent rounded panels with thin cyan outlines, matching the screenshot’s futuristic raid briefing style. In the upper-left display the title “RAID NIGHT 51” in cyan and live lines “Health: [value]”, “Sprint: [value]”, and “Recovered: [count] / 5.” In the upper-right show a briefing panel with text explaining: “September 20, 2019. Slip past patrols, grab the classified ‘pop-culture anomalies,’ and escape through the glowing portal. WASD / arrows move, Shift or BOOST sprints.” List the five parody anomaly names in the briefing. At game start, show a centered dark message panel with the motivational text “They can’t stop all of us. Get the anomalies!” and a start button. Provide a restart button after winning or losing. Show short toast notifications for pickups and raid state changes. Include a subtle damage flash. The game should begin when the Start button is pressed, when the player uses the joystick/boost control, or via movement/space input. Winning displays “You Escaped” and a message that every classified anomaly was recovered; losing displays “Raid Failed” and explains that the base caught the player. Keep all visuals and labels original/parodic rather than reproducing exact copyrighted characters or assets.
