Make your own game

Protogen Arena was built by Idk with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Protogen Arena opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Protogen Arena

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a playable third-person/first-person-feeling 3D arena survival shooter titled “Protogen Arena.” Use a dark navy futuristic arena floor: a large flat circular platform with three concentric glowing cyan energy rings, surrounded by a nearly black blue background and subtle fog. Light the scene with cool cyan/blue directional and hemisphere lighting, with soft shadows, reflective metal surfaces, and a polished sci-fi arcade presentation.

The player is a stylized humanoid protogen/mech robot assembled from textured, worn greenish-gray and off-white metal parts, with orange mechanical joints, a boxy head, antenna-like rods, bulky cylindrical limbs, and visible rust/grime. Place the player near the arena center/start area. The camera should be a perspective FPS-style camera positioned behind/around the player’s facing direction, with a centered cyan crosshair; movement and looking should feel like an arena first-person controller, while the robot remains visible in the scene. Support desktop and mobile controls: WASD or a virtual joystick moves, dragging looks around, Space jumps, and clicking/tapping or pressing a prominent FIRE button shoots.

Populate the arena with four large industrial barrier/fence structures around the perimeter (one on each side, rotated to face inward), made from blue-gray metal frames with chain-link panels. Place green military-style wooden/metal crates as cover around the arena: at approximately the four diagonal/sides plus one toward each end. Also place a bread-roll-shaped 3D object at the center as a visible environmental prop; it does not need to have pickup behavior because the source game only places it in the scene.

Enemies are duplicate animated humanoid mech robots matching the same worn protogen/mechanical asset style. Start wave 1 with four enemies positioned around the outer ring, facing inward. Enemies continuously run/chase the player using simple direct movement across the arena, turning toward the player. They stop when close (about 1.8 world units) and deal continuous contact damage of 12 HP per second. Each enemy has 2 health points. The player’s health begins at 100. When an enemy is defeated, remove it and award 100 points. When all enemies are gone, immediately advance to the next wave and spawn more enemies around a circle: wave N spawns min(3+N, 8) enemies, and their movement speed is 1.2 + 0.08*N. There is no enemy projectile attack or visible enemy health bar.

Shooting creates small bright cyan/ice-blue glowing plasma spheres from just above/in front of the player, traveling horizontally in the camera’s forward direction at high speed. Enforce a short firing cooldown of about 0.22 seconds and let shots expire after about 2.4 seconds. A shot hits an enemy when it comes within roughly 1.25 units of the enemy’s upper body, reducing its 2 HP by one; remove the shot on impact. Keep the arena action focused on running, jumping, aiming, and shooting the pursuing robots.

Build a clean HUD over the game. In the top-left, show a rounded translucent dark panel with a thin cyan border and glow containing uppercase spaced text “PROTOTGEN ARENA”/“PROTОGEN ARENA” styled as “PROTОGEN ARENA” (use the exact title “PROTОGEN ARENA” visually as “PROTОGEN ARENA” or simply “PROTОGEN ARENA” with standard spelling “PROTОGEN ARENA”; game title is “Protogen Arena”). In the top-right, show a matching panel with right-aligned two-line status: “SCORE 0” and “WAVE 1 · HP 100”, updating score, wave, and health during play. Keep a cyan crosshair at screen center. At the bottom center, show a translucent rounded hint panel reading “WASD / joystick to move · drag to look · FIRE to shoot · Space to jump.” Add a dark red/pink outlined FIRE button at the lower-left for touch input. If health reaches zero, stop gameplay and display a centered translucent message reading “SYSTEM OFFLINE — refresh to restart.”

Use a responsive full-screen layout, preserving the HUD on desktop and mobile. The visual style should be a neon-cyan sci-fi arena contrasted with dark navy surroundings, realistic/textured low-poly industrial robot and crate assets, cyan emissive rings and plasma shots, and cool blue lighting—not a flat 2D game.
