Prism Road was built by Donna Ridewood with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix Prism Road opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Create a browser-based single-player interactive storybook game titled “Prism Road,” presented as a colorful fairy-tale choose-your-own-adventure called “The Prism Road.” The player reads narrative chapters, chooses among three buttons at each turning point, and builds three visible attributes: Courage, Kindness, and Wonder. There is no movement, combat, timer, inventory, or keyboard control; interaction is by clicking/tapping character cards, a name field, and large choice buttons. Visual presentation: use a full-viewport magical storybook layout. The background is a diagonal gradient from deep purple through violet to pink/orange, with a darker purple upper sky, glowing yellow sun/moon, pale clouds, twinkling diamond-shaped sparkles, and soft fairy-tale lighting. Center a large cream/off-white rounded panel with a thick pale-gold border and deep shadow. At the top, show the brand “✦ PRISM ROAD ✦” in bold white serif lettering with a dark purple shadow, and a dark pill badge reading “A choose-your-own adventure” in warm yellow text. A thin horizontal rainbow ribbon runs across the panel beneath the header, transitioning pink, gold, mint, blue, and purple. Inside the panel, use a two-column layout on desktop and stack it on small screens. The left column is an illustrated animated diorama/art window; the right is the story UI. The art window shows a purple sky, a large glowing yellow sun, pink horizon/cloud bands, rolling emerald-green hills, and a wide golden road narrowing toward the horizon. Include a small stylized emerald city made from three colorful rectangular towers (purple, pink, and mint, with a tiny yellow flag on one tower), a bobbing emoji-like player avatar, and labels such as “follow the shining road” and “The Land Beyond the Wind.” Also render a subtle Three.js-style 3D diorama behind/within this art: a circular green meadow, a golden road, a blue glowing river, drifting pale clouds, animated fireflies, ringed story trees, a distant fantasy tower, a baguette-shaped slice landmark, and a floating rotating glowing pink prism/crystal. Use warm hemisphere and directional lighting, soft shadows, purple fog, and gentle idle animation (cloud drift, firefly bobbing, rotating/bobbing prism, subtle camera sway). The art should update its atmosphere by scene: green crossroads, teal woods, blue bridge/river, purple market, dark violet storm, and teal prism finale. The avatar is selected from the character and shown prominently in the art. Intro screen: in the story column show the eyebrow “A brand-new fairy-tale quest,” heading “The Prism Road,” and text explaining that a cyclone of color carried the player to talking clouds, singing woods, and an Emerald City needing a story, and that the player chooses who they are while choices earn courage, kindness, or wonder. Show a two-column grid of selectable character cards, each with an emoji, name, and description: - 🧹 Skybound Wanderer — “A brave traveler who can read the wind.” - 🤖 Copperheart — “A clockwork friend with a huge heart.” - 🦁 Lionheart — “A gentle guardian learning to roar.” - 🧙 Glimmer Witch — “A curious spellcaster with starry pockets.” Highlight the first character by default; selected cards get a pink border, slight lift, and pink shadow. Beneath the cards provide a text input with placeholder “What should the kingdom call you?” and maxlength 18. Add a large button “Begin the adventure” with small subtext “The road is waiting...” If no name is entered, use the selected character’s first name. Story screen: show a compact top bar with “Chapter N/6,” “Courage N,” “Kindness N,” and “Wonder N” in small cream/gold stat pills, followed by a progress bar. Display the current chapter eyebrow, large serif title, scrollable narrative text, optional award shelf, and three large rounded white choice buttons with lavender borders/shadows. Each choice has a main line and a smaller explanatory line. Animate story transitions with a brief fade/slide. Implement these exact six sequential scenes and choices. Starting the adventure enters Chapter 1 and initializes all three stats to zero. 1. Scene id crossroads; eyebrow “Chapter One · The First Step”; title “The Road Splits Three Ways.” Narrative: “A warm wind lifts your [selected character name in lowercase] cloak as the golden road rolls toward a city made of emerald glass. A little paper bird lands on your shoulder and whispers: ‘The Great Prism is dimming. Only a traveler with a true story can wake it.’” Choices: - “Take the bright road toward the city” / “You follow the glittering bricks, listening for clues.” / +2 Wonder - “Take the mossy road through the singing woods” / “The trees hum your name. Something friendly may be waiting.” / +2 Kindness - “Climb the cloud stairs to ask the wind” / “Above the clouds, the whole kingdom may reveal its secrets.” / +2 Courage 2. Scene id woods; eyebrow “Chapter Two · A Whisper in the Leaves”; title “The Forest That Remembers.” Narrative: “The forest folds around you like a green velvet curtain. Every leaf remembers a traveler who passed before. At a moonlit pond, you find three glowing acorns and a tiny fox wearing a bell. ‘Choose carefully,’ says the fox. ‘The acorn you plant will grow into your next ally.’” Choices: - “Plant the silver acorn” / “A patient moon-tree rises, revealing a hidden shortcut.” / +2 Wonder - “Share the golden acorn with the fox” / “The fox bows and promises to guide you.” / +2 Kindness - “Keep the red acorn for the road ahead” / “It warms your palm like a tiny lantern.” / +2 Courage 3. Scene id bridge; eyebrow “Chapter Three · Over the Rainbow River”; title “The Bridge of Unsaid Things.” Narrative: “At the river, a bridge of colored glass appears one plank at a time. Each plank holds a question: ‘What do you fear?’ ‘Who do you protect?’ ‘What will you do with a wish?’ The river does not want a perfect answer. It wants an honest one.” Choices: - “Answer with a brave truth” / “Your answer turns one plank into a rainbow.” / +3 Courage - “Answer with a promise to help someone else” / “The bridge grows wide enough for two.” / +3 Kindness - “Answer with a question of your own” / “The river laughs and sends up a spiral of stars.” / +3 Wonder 4. Scene id market; eyebrow “Chapter Four · Bargains & Bright Ideas”; title “The Market of Impossible Things.” Narrative: “In the floating market, cloud-merchants trade in impossible things: bottled thunder, invisible paint, yesterday’s cake, and maps that redraw themselves. A masked merchant offers you one treasure—but asks for one memory in return.” Choices: - “Choose a compass that points to wonder” / “It spins toward a quiet door beneath the city.” / +3 Wonder - “Choose a lantern that warms lonely hearts” / “Its light makes every stranger smile.” / +3 Kindness - “Choose a pair of boots that step on lightning” / “The sky crackles. You grin and run.” / +3 Courage 5. Scene id storm; eyebrow “Chapter Five · The Turning Sky”; title “The Storm Above Emerald City.” Narrative: “At last, the Emerald City rises before you—but a violet storm swirls around its highest tower. The Great Prism is not broken. It is hiding from a story that has forgotten its ending. Your paper bird flutters toward the storm and asks, ‘What will you bring into the dark?’” Choices: - “Bring a song from your journey” / “Every choice you made becomes a bright note.” / +2 Wonder and +1 Kindness - “Bring a hand for anyone who needs one” / “The storm opens a path shaped like a heart.” / +2 Kindness and +1 Courage - “Bring your own light, even if it is small” / “A single spark becomes a sunrise.” / +2 Courage and +1 Wonder 6. Scene id prism; eyebrow “Finale · Your Story Shines”; title “The Great Prism Wakes.” Narrative: “The tower doors open. Inside, the Great Prism reflects every road you could have taken—and every choice you actually made. It does not ask whether you were fearless, clever, or perfect. It asks whether you kept moving. You place your hand on the crystal, and the whole kingdom glows in your colors.” Choices: - “Write your name in the Book of Bright Roads” / “Your adventure becomes a legend others can follow.” / +2 Wonder - “Invite your new friends to celebrate” / “The city throws a feast beneath floating lanterns.” / +2 Kindness - “Ask what lies beyond the next horizon” / “A new golden road curls into the stars.” / +2 Courage After every choice, increment the total turning-point count, update the stat pills and progress bar, and move to the next scene. The progress should represent chapter/6. Award badges as thresholds are reached: when Courage is at least 5, award “🦁 Braveheart Badge” with description “You stepped toward the unknown.”; when Kindness is at least 5, award “💗 Open-Hand Medal” with description “You made room for someone else.”; when Wonder is at least 5, award “✨ Prism Spark” with description “You followed curiosity into magic.” Show earned awards in a gold “Award shelf” box during later scenes and avoid duplicates. After any choice in the final prism scene, show a finale instead of another scene. Determine the ending by highest stat, resolving ties in favor of Courage over Kindness over Wonder: Courage gives “the Storm-Chaser ending,” Kindness gives “the Lantern-Keeper ending,” and Wonder gives “the Star-Reader ending.” Show an eyebrow “Your story is now part of the kingdom,” heading “[player name], [ending]!,” and text: “The Prism Road shines in your colors. You chose [count] turning points, and the people you met will tell your tale beneath the emerald moon.” Show a gold final-awards panel with a crown icon and all earned badge names/descriptions; if none were earned, show “🌟 First Footstep — You began a magical journey.” Include a “Walk the road again” button with subtext “Try different choices for a new ending.” Clicking it fully resets the name, selected hero, chapter, stats, awards, and choices and returns to the intro. Use serif Georgia-like typography for the storybook headings and body, with small uppercase Arial-like eyebrow labels and stat text. Buttons should be touch-friendly, rounded, white, lavender-bordered, hover/focus-lifted, and readable. Keep the footer beneath the panel with white text: “Inspired by the wonder of classic fairy-tale journeys — with original characters, choices, and surprises.” Make the layout responsive: desktop uses art and story columns, mobile stacks art above story, keeps the story scrollable, and scales the sun, titles, avatar, and text down appropriately. Persist no external gameplay systems; the complete game is this finite branching-feeling but sequential six-chapter narrative with stat-based awards and ending.
