Make your own game

Off-Road Mayhem was built by big bruh with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Off-Road Mayhem opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Off-Road Mayhem

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a browser-playable 3D arcade off-road driving game titled “OFF-ROAD MAYHEM.” Use a third-person chase camera behind and above a chunky stylized orange/red pickup truck, with a warm desert palette, simple low-poly geometry, soft shadows, fog, and a slightly cinematic game-like finish. The player vehicle should be a boxy truck assembled from primitive shapes: broad rectangular body, hood, raised cab with dark blue-green windshield, open/dark bed, four chunky dark wheels, headlights, and a visible exhaust. The truck begins at the garage/start marker near the main trail, facing down the desert course.

Build a large rolling desert terrain with undulating sand/sand-rock ground, a long darker main dirt trail, a branch trail, scattered low-poly rocks, green cacti, and several blue/turquoise water areas. Include terrain regions that affect driving: main trail, sand/rock, shallow water, deep water, mud pit, and stunt dirt. Add three glowing gold checkpoint rings/markers positioned around the course (roughly one ahead on the main route, one toward the right canyon/water branch, and one toward the left stunt area), plus a glowing turquoise circular garage marker at the starting point. Include brown wedge stunt ramps in the stunt area and canyon area. The world should feel open and explorable rather than like a narrow track.

Driving is arcade physics. Support keyboard WASD and arrow keys: W/up accelerates forward, S/down brakes/reverses, A/left and D/right steer, Space engages a handbrake/drift-style deceleration, R resets the truck to the starting marker, Escape opens the menu, and E opens the garage when close to the garage marker. Also provide touch/on-screen controls: left/right buttons, HANDBRAKE, RESET, BRAKE, and GAS. The truck should have speed-limited forward and reverse motion, steering that changes yaw more strongly at speed, reduced acceleration and top speed in water and mud, wheel spin animation, terrain-following suspension, and airborne behavior over bumps/ramps. When airborne, apply gravity and visibly pitch/roll the truck; on landing, award stunt score based on airtime, landing quality, and speed, increment jump count, award XP, and sometimes cash for a hard landing. Driving quickly through water can also build stunt score. Reset the vehicle if it falls below the world.

The core objective is to reach the three checkpoints in sequence. Display progress as 0 / 3, award cash and XP at each checkpoint, and give a larger reward when all three are reached before resetting the sequence. Exploring away from the start should slowly increase exploration progress, cash, and XP. Persist progression in local storage: starting values are $650 cash, level 1, 0 XP, default truck color #d95b35, all six upgrades at level 1, and zero jumps/stunt score/explored/checkpoints. Leveling up should consume XP thresholds based on the current level and award additional cash.

Use a fixed HUD over the 3D view. At top left show “OFF-ROAD MAYHEM,” cash, LV, and XP; at top right show a large numeric KM/H speed readout, gear state (GEAR N/D/R), RPM, and CONDITION 100%. Center top show the objective “Reach the canyon checkpoint · 0 / 3” with live checkpoint progress. Bottom left show STUNT SCORE with a progress bar and the current terrain label. Bottom right show a circular minimap with a simple brown desert background, trail/water shapes, checkpoint dots (highlighting the current target), and a turquoise player dot. Use translucent dark rounded cards, warm orange accent text/buttons, mint/teal secondary accents, and responsive mobile layout.

Start with a full-screen dark translucent menu overlay and a centered rounded panel. The panel title is “OFF-ROAD MAYHEM” with MAYHEM in orange, subtitle “Desert driving · stunt runs · garage progression,” and a two-column button grid: PLAY DESERT, GARAGE, CUSTOMIZE, UPGRADES, CHALLENGES, MULTIPLAYER. Include the hint “WASD / arrows drive · Space handbrake · R reset · Esc menu · E garage.” PLAY DESERT hides the menu and starts driving. Garage/customize/upgrades open the same tuning panel: show available off-road cash and upgrade rows for ENGINE, TRANSMISSION, SUSPENSION, TIRES, BRAKES, and 4WD, each level 1/5 with a purchase price of 150 times the current level and a performance description; upgrades cost cash and improve driving-related performance. Include paint/style swatches in orange, blue, yellow, gray, white, and purple plus a color input, and a SAVE TRUCK button. The vehicle body color must update immediately and persist.

The CHALLENGES button should present the available challenge text rather than a full separate challenge gameplay system: reach 3 checkpoints for
50, jump 100m for
80, cross deep water for
20, and score 500 stunt points for $300. MULTIPLAYER should open a clearly labeled local/practice room UI, not real network multiplayer: username field, room code, CREATE ROOM, JOIN ROOM, player list, and READY / START LOCAL PRACTICE; creating a room generates a MAYHEM- plus short random code. Ready starts the local practice drive. Keep menu panels closable with Escape and close buttons. Match the visual style of the supplied screenshot: bold uppercase condensed-feeling labels, dark brown/black translucent panels, orange primary buttons, rounded corners, and the desert scene visible dimly behind overlays.
