Microbe Guardians was built by Hiruni Rupasinghe with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix Microbe Guardians opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Rebuild a browser-based 3D educational platformer titled “Microbe Guardians,” using a third-person camera and a colorful stylized low-poly/soft-shaded microbe aesthetic. The game takes place inside a warm, dark red/pink human-body-like interior: use a fleshy tissue palette, atmospheric fog, floating flattened red blood cells, and many tiny glowing nutrient motes against a deep biological background. The playable course is a long hand-designed sequence of floating square gel/tissue platforms extending forward into the scene, with platforms 4x4 units, thin glowing rims, organ-themed colors and small surface decorations. Arrange the route as alternating left/right zigzags with several raised sections and descents: begin around (0,0,0), continue forward through z=-93, with rises toward the five character zones and platforms varying approximately 0–3 units in height. Falling is possible, with a low body-cavity floor far below catching the player visually. The player is Amy the Amoeba, a small translucent pale-blue 3D blob with an irregular faceted/icosahedron body, a glowing pink-lilac nucleus, large white eyes with dark pupils, dark eyeliner, expressive brows, a small mouth, a punk-style dark spiked collar, and a ground shadow. Use a third-person controllable target with camera distance about 6.5 and height about 3.2. Movement should support WASD and arrow keys, jumping with Space, and mobile controls consisting of an on-screen joystick, look-drag, and jump button. Use movement speed about 7, jump speed about 9, and gravity about -22. Amy faces her movement direction, bobs while moving or idling, squashes on landing, stretches during jumping/falling, blinks periodically, and her pupils subtly track nearby characters. Scatter glowing yellow octahedral nutrient collectibles along the midpoint between each pair of platforms and add bonus nutrients on selected platform tops, including the start route and each character platform. They rotate and bob gently. The HUD must show a rounded translucent top-left counter with a glowing green/yellow dot and text in the form “0 / [total] Nutrients” (the actual course creates 28 total: 22 between-platform pickups plus 6 bonus pickups). When Amy gets within about 1.3 units, remove the nutrient, increment the counter, and show a short green toast such as “+1 Nutrient collected! (1/28)”. Place five friendly NPC microbes at the raised destination areas, each as a distinct expressive 3D mesh character with a colored body, face, glow disc, shadow, idle bob, eye tracking, and the same goth-punk collar/spike styling: 1. Bif at approximately (-9,3.2,-20), orange/coral horizontal rod-shaped Bifidobacterium, titled “Gut Guardian.” His dialogue teaches that Bifidobacterium lives in the gut and babies, ferments indigestible fiber into short-chain fatty acids that feed the gut lining and calm inflammation, can be reduced by antibiotics, and relates to digestion and the gut-brain axis. 2. Saccharo at approximately (10,3.8,-36), golden egg/ovoid baker’s yeast with a small budding daughter cell, titled “The Baker.” His dialogue explains Saccharomyces cerevisiae eats sugar and releases CO2 to make bread rise, and is used for wine and beer. 3. Cyan at approximately (-11,3.6,-52), bright cyan bead-like cyanobacterium with small oxygen bubbles, titled “The Oxygen Maker.” His dialogue covers ancient photosynthesis, plant chloroplast endosymbiosis, the Great Oxidation Event, and microbial origins of breathable oxygen. 4. Rhizo at approximately (11,4,-68), pink rounded oval Rhizobium with short root-like tendrils, titled “The Farmer.” His dialogue explains root nodules on beans and peas, nitrogen fixation into plant-usable fertilizer, crop rotation, and reducing reliance on chemical fertilizer. 5. Phina at approximately (-11,3.6,-84), purple bacteriophage with an icosahedron head, narrow neck, and six dark spider-like legs, titled “The Hunter.” His dialogue explains that bacteriophages hunt bacteria, carry DNA, inject genes, hijack bacteria, and may be used in phage therapy against antibiotic-resistant bacteria. Use themed platform zones matching the path: tongue-like pink/red platforms at the start and finish, intestine-like platforms around Bif, ochre stomach-themed platforms around Saccharo, pale lung-themed platforms around Cyan, dark red heart-themed platforms around Rhizo, and dark liver-themed platforms around Phina. Surface decorations should be simple low-poly forms: villi/bumps, arched intestine segments, stomach domes and ridges, alveoli-like bubbles, vessel pieces, or paired liver lobes. The game begins on a full-screen dark teal intro panel with a large gradient title “Microbe Guardians,” an educational subtitle saying the player is Amy the Amoeba and will jump across gel platforms, collect nutrients, and meet five microbes whose work affects the gut, bread, breath, farms, and disease. Show a “The Crew You’ll Meet” section with five cast cards, colored circular avatars, names, species, and short science blurbs. Show controls: Move WASD/arrow keys, Jump Space, Talk E or tap, plus a note about mobile joystick/look-drag/jump controls. Include a rounded green “Start Exploring” button; hide the intro and enable play after clicking it. Near an NPC, show a centered-bottom rounded translucent prompt reading “Press E / Tap to talk to [name].” Press E or tap when within roughly 3.2 units to start that NPC’s conversation; mark that character as met. Freeze player controls and pause the world while dialogue is open. Display a bottom-centered glassy dark-teal dialogue card with the NPC’s colored circular avatar, name, title/species line, and typewriter-rendered dialogue. Advance by pressing E or tapping the dialogue card; the first press while text is typing should instantly complete the line, and later presses move through four lines before closing. Use browser speech synthesis for each line with distinct voice pitch/rate per character; animate the NPC mouth, brow, glow, and eye pupils while speaking. The completion rule is strict: Amy must collect every nutrient and meet all five characters. Then pause the game and show a full-screen dark overlay with the gradient heading “Microcosm Mapped!”, explanatory text that she collected every nutrient and met the microbial crew, and a rounded green “Explore Again” button. Restart resets the nutrient count and all met flags, respawns all pickups, returns Amy to the start, and resumes exploration. Use a responsive canvas, soft shadows, warm biological lighting, translucent emissive materials, and a clean rounded Fredoka-like HUD style. Do not add combat, enemies, lives, weapons, or other objectives: the core loop is platforming, collecting, and educational conversations.
