Meme Maw was built by Tired Eye Sharkmations with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix Meme Maw opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Create a single-player 3D arcade game titled “Meme Maw.” The player controls a goofy, dangerously silly cartoon shark in a bright circular underwater reef arena. Use a third-person perspective camera positioned above and behind the shark, following its movement while looking toward the shark; show a broad turquoise seabed, a raised circular reef rim, a soft blue underwater sky/fog, translucent water shimmer, colorful coral and seaweed around the perimeter, floating sparkles, and occasional bubbles. The art should be cel-shaded/toon-like with soft anime-cartoon colors, playful glowing accents, and polished mobile-friendly presentation. The shark should be a cute stylized model facing its movement direction: pale blue-gray body with white belly, darker blue fins and tail, a dorsal fin, side fins, pink cheek accents, large dark shiny eyes, and a pink curved grin. Animate its body gently bobbing and its tail swishing. Keep the shark within the circular arena boundary. The core goal is to collect all 8 floating meme relics before the 75-second timer reaches zero. Place the relics around the reef at varying positions. Each relic is a colorful glowing faceted object made from an outer octahedron, inner white faceted core, circular halo, point light, and a dark rounded floating billboard label. The labels must be exactly: BONK, SUS, OOF, WOW, DRIP, BRUH, ZOOM, and HEHE, with distinct bright pastel colors. Relics drift/bob up and down and rotate continuously. When the shark comes within roughly 2 units of a relic, collect it, hide it, mark it complete, add a colored expanding ring and confetti burst, and display a short playful message. Award 100 points plus 35 additional points for each combo step beyond the first. The first pickup gives +1.5 seconds; pickups made while the roughly 3.1-second combo window is active give +2.6 seconds. Cap the timer bonus at 87 seconds (75 + 12). Start at Combo x1; a pickup starts Combo x2, and rapid consecutive pickups increase it. If the combo timer expires, reset the combo to x1. Add four moving crab hazards distributed around the arena. Make each crab a small stylized orange-red toon crab with a domed shell, little dark eyes and angled brows, six legs, and two claws. Crabs wander with gentle direction changes and remain near the arena edge. If the shark touches a crab, subtract 4.2 seconds, reset the combo to x1, briefly make the shark invulnerable, produce an orange expanding ring and screen shake, and show a humorous warning such as “Crab tax. -4 seconds.” Do not let repeated contact happen during the short hit cooldown. If the timer reaches zero before all relics are collected, show a loss screen. If all 8 are collected, immediately show a win screen with the remaining time and score. Controls: support WASD and arrow keys for movement, plus a draggable on-screen virtual joystick for touch devices. Normalize diagonal input. Support Spacebar and a large circular on-screen BOOST button. Boost has a 2.8-second cooldown and creates a short approximately 0.88-second speed burst adding about 6.1 movement speed on top of the normal 6.55 speed; show a yellow expanding ring and glitter/bubble wake when activated. Movement should accelerate/decelerate smoothly, rotate the shark toward travel direction, and keep it inside the reef boundary. Add a floating arrow above the shark that points toward the nearest uncollected relic; hide it when none remain and tint it red when the timer is under 15 seconds. Build a 2D glassy HUD overlay. In the upper left show Score as a four-digit padded value, Time Left starting at 75.0, and Combo x1. In the upper right show the objective “Catch the whole meme shoal,” a collected counter such as 0 / 8, explanatory text telling the player to follow the arrow, and a two-column checklist of all eight labels; collected items become bright green/cyan completed pills. On compact screens, allow this objective panel to collapse into a Show/Hide toggle. Near the bottom center show temporary humorous pickup/hit/status messages. At the bottom show a hint about avoiding crabs and boosting, the translucent circular joystick, and the large gradient BOOST button. Use dark navy translucent panels with rounded corners, blur, white text, cyan/pink/gold accents, and responsive safe-area spacing. At the beginning, display a full-screen dark translucent intro card titled MEME MAW with the subtitle: “You are a dangerously silly shark. Chomp every drifting meme relic before the clock hits zero and become the undisputed lord of sea-level nonsense.” Include chips reading “WASD / Arrows / Drag joystick,” “Space or BOOST for turbo bite,” and “Collect all 8 memes in time,” plus a “Start the Splashdown” button and a tip about chaining pickups for combo bonus seconds. Keep gameplay paused until the button is pressed. When paused, show a pause overlay; when winning show “SHARK OF FAME” with text reporting all 8 memes, remaining seconds, and score, and a “Run it Back” button. When losing show “TOO SLOW, GILL-FRIEND” with the collected count and score and a “Retry the Reef” button. Include keyboard Enter/Escape resume behavior and R to retry after game over. Add subtle camera shake on boosts, collisions, and pickups, celebratory confetti/rings, bobbing sparkles, and bubble particles, while cleaning up particles and reducing render quality/particle counts on coarse-pointer mobile devices.
