Make your own game

Life Simulator was built by Grant Sylvester with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Life Simulator opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Life Simulator

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a browser-based 3D third-person city life simulator titled “Life Simulator: Ultimate Roleplay,” set in a stylized low-poly Harbor City. Use a bright blue-sky background with atmospheric fog, soft shadows, and a simple colorful commercial-city aesthetic. The player is a small black humanoid citizen avatar standing on a large flat city grid, initially at the center/downtown area. The camera starts in an over-the-shoulder third-person view following the player at about 7 units distance, with a visible small circular crosshair centered on the screen. Support WASD movement and Space to jump, with gravity and slope handling. Include a button that toggles between the default third-person camera and a first-person camera positioned at the avatar’s head and looking in the direction of movement; show a toast notification when the view changes.

Build the environment from a large muted green ground plane, a regular grid of dark charcoal roads and pale gray sidewalks, and a strip of blue water forming a bay along the far edge of the city. Place simple low-poly city props around the grid: commercial buildings representing Metro Plaza, Harbor Tower, Hospital, School, Mall, and Police Station; groups of stylized trees around the outskirts; and parked low-poly yellow taxi and police cruiser vehicles. Use directional sunlight, cool fill light, ambient hemisphere lighting, shadows, and distance fog. The player’s district should be determined by location and displayed as Downtown by default: Harbor when z is below -18, Business District when x is above 18, Suburbs when z is above 18, otherwise Downtown.

Add a fixed translucent dark-blue glass HUD over the 3D scene. At the upper left show the title “Life Simulator: Ultimate Roleplay” and subtitle “Harbor City — live city slice.” Along the upper right show money, level/XP, and a clock/weather chip. Initialize the stats to
,250, Level 1, 0 XP, time 08:00, Clear weather, role “New Citizen,” and energy 100%. Add a left Character panel showing Role, Energy, District, a “First Person” camera toggle button, and a “Change Weather” button. Add a lower-right City Map panel with a dark teal mini-map, a glowing mint player dot, simple diagonal/crossing map lines, “Nearby Metro Plaza,” and “Controls WASD · Space.” Add a bottom-center mission panel initially reading “Welcome to Harbor City” and “Explore the city, switch to first-person, and press E to take a taxi shift.” Add centered toast notifications for actions. Implement the life-simulation progression exactly as a lightweight roleplay loop: the in-game clock continuously advances from 08:00, progressing about 0.11 game-hours per real-time second and wrapping after 24 hours. Pressing E toggles the player’s role between “New Citizen” and “Taxi Driver.” Each E press grants 25 XP; when XP reaches 100, subtract 100 and increase the level by 1. Switching into Taxi Driver also grants
80, updates the mission to “Shift complete” with copy “Press E near the plaza to swap careers.” and shows a toast such as “You picked up a taxi shift +
80.” Switching back updates the mission to “Career board” with the same swap-careers guidance and shows “You are back to exploring.” The interaction is a global E key action (no need to invent a special quest system or NPC interaction). Energy remains a displayed 100% value unless otherwise implemented by the underlying basic loop. The Change Weather button cycles through exactly three states: Clear, Overcast, and Rain. Change the sky/background and fog colors for each state and reduce sunlight intensity in Rain; do not add unshown gameplay systems or weather particles. Show a toast naming the new weather. Keep the presentation clean, readable, and responsive, with rounded translucent panels, pale blue text, mint accent colors, and compact responsive styling for smaller screens. The experience should be an explorable playable city slice rather than a menu or slideshow.
