Last Magazine was built by el mono lucho with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix Last Magazine opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Rebuild a browser-based 3D top-down survival shooter titled “Last Magazine.” Use a dark, nearly black-blue background (#10151a), a perspective camera looking down at a flat square arena, with soft shadows, fog, and subdued cinematic lighting. The playable arena is a 30-by-30 green-gray floor, enclosed by four dark raised border walls, with five chunky gray rectangular cover blocks placed around it (roughly at (-6,-4), (5,-3), (-3,6), (7,7), and (-8,7)). Keep the visual style clean and low-detail, with realistic/stylized animated humanoid models: a soldier survivor controlled by the player and animated zombies that pursue him. The camera follows/targets the player in a top-down view at about 16 units distance. At launch show a centered modal card over the game: large gold title “LAST MAGAZINE,” the text “A flat arena. One magazine. Keep moving, collect ammo, and survive the waves.” and a coral START button. Behind it, display the HUD: top-left translucent dark rounded panel with the gold title “LAST MAGAZINE” and the hint “WASD / joystick to move · Space or FIRE to shoot”; top-right translucent panel showing “HP 100,” “AMMO 12,” and “WAVE 1.” Add a bottom-right circular coral FIRE button with a pale outline, and a dark blue-gray RESTART button just to its lower-left. The FIRE button is hidden until the game starts. Use responsive full-screen canvas and touch-friendly controls. On START (or Enter before the game starts), reset and begin the run: player starts at the arena center with HP 100, one magazine of 12 rounds, wave 1, and zero kills. Move with WASD or an on-screen virtual joystick through top-down controls at speed about 5.2. Shoot with Space or FIRE; shots have a 300 ms cooldown. Each shot consumes one round and automatically targets the nearest living zombie, rather than requiring mouse aiming. Draw a brief pale-gold tracer line from the player toward the target. A hit immediately reduces that zombie to zero HP, plays its hit animation, and removes it after about 180 ms. If there is no target, the round is still spent. There is no conventional reload: ammo can only be restored by pickups or restarting. Spawn the first wave immediately when the game begins. Spawn 4 + 2 times the current wave zombies, capped at 14, at random positions 9–13 units from the center. Zombies have one hit point, move toward the player at approximately 1.15–1.60 units per second, rotate toward him, and use a walking animation while approaching. At contact distance around 1.05 units they stop and attack, dealing 8 HP every 0.75 seconds with a punch animation. When all living zombies are gone, wait two seconds, increment the wave, and spawn the next wave. Every sixth kill, create a glowing gold ammo pickup at a random location within roughly a 16-unit square. Make pickups rotate and bob slightly. When the player comes within about 1.1 units, collect one and restore 4 ammo, capped at 12. Keep the HUD updated continuously with rounded-up HP, current ammo, and current wave. If HP reaches zero, stop gameplay and show a centered dark modal titled “OVERRUN” with text in the style of “You dropped [kills] infected. Ammo is gone — tap restart and try a tighter route.” and a RESTART button. Restart must clear all zombies and pickups, restore HP 100/ammo 12/wave 1/kills 0, return the player to the center, hide the modal, show FIRE, and spawn wave 1. Do not add features not specified: the game is simply movement, nearest-target shooting, pursuing zombies, wave progression, ammo pickups, and survival. Use animated Soldier_Male and Zombie_Male-style humanoid assets if available, with idle/run soldier animation and idle/walk/punch/hit zombie animation, plus directional shadows and soft lighting.
