Make your own game

Last Broadcast was built by Leonardo Hernandez Gonzalez with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Last Broadcast opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Last Broadcast

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a third-person 3D horror-escape game titled "Last Broadcast". Use a dark, nearly black graveyard at night with a muted reddish-brown ground plane, a narrow muddy path running through it, dense fog, moonlike purple-white directional lighting, and a pulsing red light at the far end. Populate the graveyard with scattered large cross gravestones and broken gravestones, plus an iron fence line and a red gate at the back of the area. The camera should follow the player from behind at an over-the-shoulder/third-person distance, with a moody cinematic look, soft shadows, fog, vignette, and subtle horizontal CRT scanlines.

The player is a small stylized survivor made from a pale capsule-like body and dark reddish head, starting near the front of the graveyard at approximately the center of the path. Move the player with WASD or arrow keys and allow jumping with Space; provide equivalent touch controls on mobile. Movement speed is about 3.6, with gravity and a jump. The goal is to collect exactly three glowing, rotating red/pink signal fragments, placed around the graveyard: one to the left/front-middle, one to the right/middle, and one to the left/back area. Fragments bob up and down, disappear when the player comes within roughly 0.8 units, and increment the recovered count.

Add a supernatural static figure enemy at the rear-center of the graveyard, initially behind the player near the gate. It is a black shadowy humanoid silhouette formed from a dark tapered cone torso and a dark sphere head with a red emissive glow, with two tiny pale glowing eyes. It continuously faces the player and slowly homes toward them, becoming slightly faster over time. The player loses a fear/signal meter while close to the figure: drain it strongly when within about 1.2 units, while it very slowly recovers when more than about 5 units away. The player loses if the figure gets within about 1.15 units or the meter reaches zero. The figure should subtly bob vertically and have an ominous red-black appearance.

The win condition is to recover all three fragments, then return to the red gate at the back (within about 1.6 units of its position). Do not allow the gate to win before all fragments are collected. On victory show the message "You escaped the broadcast." On defeat show "The static found you." and offer a restart button that resets the player, enemy, meter, timer, and all fragments.

Build the HUD as a fixed overlay. In the upper-left, show a translucent dark red bordered panel with the red uppercase title "LAST BROADCAST", the objective text "Find the three signal fragments. Return to the red gate before the figure hears you.", a horizontal fear/signal bar initially full with a dark-red background and a pale cream-to-red gradient fill, and a status line. Initially the status reads "Signal stable"; during play it reads "0/3 fragments recovered" through "3/3 fragments recovered", and when fear is below 25% it instead reads "The signal is inside your head." The center of the screen initially has a large dark-red button labeled "ENTER THE STATIC"; after starting it disappears. On game over, show a centered "TRY AGAIN"-style restart button. In the lower-right show "WASD / arrows to move · Space to jump" and "Touch controls appear on mobile". Apply a dark radial vignette and subtle scanline overlay across the entire view. Use an elegant serif typeface, restrained red/pink highlights, and a creepy analog-broadcast atmosphere.
