Make your own game

Kerala Taxi was built by Arjun Balakrishnan with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Kerala Taxi opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a browser-playable 3D driving game titled “Kerala Taxi.” Use a colorful low-poly/stylized presentation and a third-person chase camera behind and slightly above a yellow taxi. The world is a straight dark charcoal-green road running through a tropical Kerala backwater setting: the road is about 11 units wide, has pale yellow solid edge lines and regularly spaced short pale-yellow dashed center markings, and is bordered by flat green grass. Put a broad turquoise-blue water/backwater area in the distance/alongside the road, with a bright cyan sky and light atmospheric fog. Scatter approximately 14 stylized coconut palm trees and 6 simple low-poly village/commercial buildings along both sides of the road; buildings are mostly pale gray/white stacked rectangular forms with dark lower sections and small dark windows, matching the simple game-like look. Use soft shadows, bright daylight, and an orthographic-looking but actually perspective camera with a field of view around 58 degrees.

The player controls the yellow taxi on the road. Start it near the front/southern end of the route, centered around the road, and keep it constrained laterally within the road and vertically along a finite route. The taxi should be a recognizable blocky yellow cab viewed mostly from behind, with a darker bumper/base, rear lights, windows, and a small light/sign on its roof. Driving uses Arrow keys or WASD: Up/W accelerates forward, Down/S reverses/brakes, Left/A and Right/D steer, with acceleration, drag, a maximum forward speed, and the taxi smoothly turning while moving. Also provide large touch-friendly on-screen buttons at the bottom: left and right steering buttons on the lower left, down and up buttons on the lower right, plus a HORN button. Pressing H (or tapping HORN) plays a short beep and displays a brief “Beep beep!” message with the subtitle “Make way for the Kerala Taxi.” The game starts responding once a keyboard or touch control is used.

Place a glowing green pickup/drop-off marker on the roadway. Make it a low glowing green cylinder/disc with a raised torus ring, gently bobbing and rotating. Use a fixed sequence of target positions along the road, alternating sides of the center line, such as approximately (-3,-20), (3,-48), (-3,-75), (3,10), and (-2,55) in world x/z coordinates, then loop the sequence. When the taxi comes within roughly 2.2 units of the marker with no passenger, pick up a passenger: set the passenger status to on board, add ₹20, show “Passenger picked up!” and the subtitle “Now drive to the glowing drop-off marker,” beep once, and immediately move the marker to the next target. When the taxi reaches the next marker while carrying a passenger, complete the trip: clear the passenger, increment completed trips, add ₹80, and show “Trip complete!” with the subtitle “₹80 fare added,” beep once, then advance the marker again. There is no visible passenger character required; represent the passenger only through the HUD state and pickup/drop-off interaction.

Build a fixed translucent dark HUD over the scene. At the upper left show “🚕 Kerala Taxi” and the subtitle “Deliver passengers along the backwaters.” At the upper right show the rupee score, “Passenger: none” or “Passenger: on board,” and “Trips: [count].” Add a small route-map/minimap in the upper-right area below the stats: use a dark teal panel containing a simple vertical/diagonal route line with pale road markings, a green dot for the current target, and a yellow dot/heading indicator for the taxi; label it “ROUTE MAP.” Near the lower center show the instruction “Arrow keys / WASD to drive • reach the green pickup marker” before/while playing. Use rounded dark translucent panels, white text, subtle borders/shadows, and responsive layout that works on desktop and mobile. Keep the game focused on the simple repeatable passenger-delivery loop, with no combat, traffic, collisions, lives, fuel, or additional invented objectives.
