Make your own game

Highway Escape was built by haseebkeerio keerio with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Highway Escape opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Highway Escape

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a polished 3D arcade driving game titled “Highway Escape,” subtitled “Outrun the pursuit. Reach the finish line.” The game is an endless-looking straight highway escape course viewed from a slightly elevated third-person chase camera behind the player car. Use a bright blue sky background with distance fog, a dark asphalt road about four lanes wide, green grass on both sides, white dashed lane markings, roadside guardrails, tall simple streetlights with glowing warm lamps, and regularly spaced low-poly green trees beyond the shoulders. Use a clean stylized low-poly vehicle aesthetic, with modeled toy-like cars and soft shadows, strong daylight, and a modern dark-blue glassmorphism interface overlay.

The main menu should fill the screen with a centered rounded dark navy panel, subtle translucent gradient, border, and shadow. Show a small pill badge reading “ARCADE POLICE CHASE,” a large bold uppercase two-line title “HIGHWAY ESCAPE,” the line “Outrun the pursuit. Reach the finish line.”, and three buttons: bright cyan “Play,” dark-blue “Choose Car,” and dark-blue “Levels.” Provide a car selection screen titled “Choose your ride” with three selectable cards: “Street Racer” (Balanced grip and acceleration; top speed 240; HP 100), “Apex Speedster” (Fastest top speed, lighter HP; top speed 278; HP 84), and “Pursuit SUV” (Heavy, tough and forgiving; top speed 216; HP 128). Highlight the selected card with a cyan outline. Include Back and Continue buttons. Provide a level selection screen titled “Select Level,” with five selectable level cards showing level number, distance, and police count: Level 1, 1000 m, 1 police; Level 2, 1300 m, 2 police; Level 3, 1650 m, 3 police; Level 4, 2050 m, 4 police; Level 5, 2500 m, 5 police. Include Back and Start buttons.

On starting a level, place the player’s selected car near the front of the road and spawn traffic ahead, pursuing police cars behind or around the player, and orange/yellow striped road barriers farther ahead. Traffic consists of toy-like racer, SUV, and truck vehicles distributed among four lanes. Police vehicles use police car models with alternating flashing red and blue roof lights and pursue the player by adjusting toward the player’s lane. The player drives forward automatically along the highway; the environment and other vehicles move relative to the player. The goal is to travel the level’s required distance and escape, while avoiding traffic, police, and barriers. Collisions damage the player and reduce speed; traffic and police collisions cause ongoing damage, barriers also cause damage. When HP reaches zero, show Game Over because the car is too damaged to continue. When the target distance is reached, show Level Complete with text such as “You escaped 1000 m of pursuit.” On success offer “Next Level” (advancing through the five levels, with replay on the final level); on failure offer “Restart.” Always offer “Main Menu.”

Implement driving controls for desktop and touch. Keyboard: Arrow Up or W accelerates, Arrow Down or S brakes, Arrow Left or A steers left, Arrow Right or D steers right. The car can move laterally across the four lanes but clamp it to the road width; steering should visibly tilt the car slightly. On touch devices, show a large circular “STEER” touch zone at bottom left, a “BRAKE” button and a “GAS” button at bottom right. Dragging within the steer zone controls lateral movement; holding GAS accelerates and holding BRAKE slows down. Include a pause button at the top right that toggles paused/play state.

During gameplay, overlay a responsive HUD without obscuring the road: top-left dark translucent card labeled LEVEL with the current level number and HP with a horizontal green-to-yellow-to-red meter; centered at the top, show the distance label such as “0 m / 1,000 m” and a horizontal progress bar; top-right show the pause button with a pause icon that changes to a play icon when paused; bottom-left show a dark translucent SPEED card with the current speed in KM/H. Keep the interface white text, cyan accents, rounded corners, and translucent navy cards. The game should be playable on desktop and mobile, resize with the viewport, use shadows and fog for depth, and maintain the focused arcade police-chase presentation shown by the menu and HUD.
