Make your own game

Bay Gold Football was built by COLIN FLECK with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Bay Gold Football opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Bay Gold Football

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a browser-based 3D top-down arcade football game titled “Bay Gold Football.” Use Three.js-style rendering with a perspective camera looking down at a rectangular American-football field, with the camera following/targeting the player from a moderately elevated angle. The scene has a pale blue sky/background with light fog, bright directional sunlight, soft ambient lighting, shadows, and a simple low-poly 3D aesthetic.

Build the field as a dark green rectangular turf slab approximately 24 units wide and 52 units long. Add white transverse yard lines across the field every 4 units, plus thin white longitudinal hash/yard markings. Put a gold-colored end zone at the far end (negative Z), with a white stripe/detail across it. Place orange cones along both sidelines. The play begins near the opposite end at positive Z, with the goal of moving toward the gold end zone at negative Z.

The player is a stylized low-poly Bay Gold quarterback/runner named QB13: a red capsule-like body/jersey, a gold shoulder stripe or shoulder bar, a rounded gold helmet, and a small brown football held at the player’s side. Place the player at approximately (0, 0.05, 18). Include three stationary teammates ahead of the player, represented by red capsule-like figures with gold stripe pieces, arranged around the center lanes and progressively farther toward the end zone. Include five opposing defenders ahead of the player as chunky blue rectangular/cuboid figures in staggered positions across the field. Defenders should cast shadows and actively chase the player once the game is running, steering toward the player when within about 8 units. If a defender gets within about 1.05 units, increment the tackle count and immediately end the play as a loss.

Controls: support WASD/arrow-key movement and a touch/virtual joystick-style top-down control, with movement speed around 8. The player can move around the field but should remain governed by the world/camera controls. Add a PASS button at the lower-right and also allow Space to pass. A pass is only available during active play, if no other pass is in flight, and while the football is held by the player. On passing, detach the football and launch it along a smooth 0.7-second arcing trajectory from the player toward the most advanced teammate (the teammate with the smallest Z), rising in a sine-shaped arc before arriving. Then reattach the football to the player’s side. The pass is primarily a visible action and does not move the teammate or otherwise create a catch mechanic.

The win condition is reaching the gold end-zone threshold near Z=-18: show a touchdown result. The loss condition is being caught by a defender: show a tackled result. Stop active gameplay after either result. Track yards as max(0, round((18 - playerZ) * 2.5)) and track tackles, initially zero. Reset the player, defenders, counters, pass state, and result state when PLAY AGAIN is pressed.

Create a fixed screen HUD over the 3D scene. At the top center, use a dark translucent rounded panel with the gold title “BAY GOLD FOOTBALL,” a gold “49ERS” team label, a YARDS counter, a TACKLES counter, and a blue-tinted “RIVALS” label. At startup show a centered translucent message: “Bay Gold 49ers drive” with smaller explanatory text “Original QB13-inspired runner — follow your teammates to the end zone.” On win show “TOUCHDOWN!” and the smaller line “You found the gap and hit paydirt.” On loss show “TACKLED!” and “Try cutting around the defenders.” Display a gold PLAY AGAIN button only after the play ends. Display a red PASS button with a gold border near the bottom-right, and bottom-center help text: “WASD / arrows or joystick to run • SPACE or PASS to throw.” Use responsive full-screen layout, rounded translucent panels, white text, gold accent color, and mobile-safe positioning. Keep the visuals simple and faithful to the low-poly football field, player, blue defenders, gold end zone, and overlaid HUD; do not add extra game modes, weapons, collectibles, or unshown mechanics.
