Make your own game

Golden Hour Fishing was built by Chen Molin with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Golden Hour Fishing opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Golden Hour Fishing

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a browser-based third-person 3D fishing game titled “Golden Hour Fishing.” Use Three.js-style real-time 3D rendering with a warm low-poly, minimal geometric art style and a fixed sunset palette. The world is a small circular grassy island surrounded by a circular quiet lake: a muted green grass disk, a raised brown dirt shoreline ring, and translucent blue-gray water extending around it. Add soft atmospheric fog and a peach/orange sky/background, with warm golden directional sunlight and soft shadows.

Place a simple wooden dock straight ahead of the starting character, extending from the island toward the lake. Build it from several orange-brown rectangular planks in a row, with short dark-brown cylindrical posts along both sides. Include a small stylized rowboat off to one side on/near the lake, made from a flattened rounded wooden hull, a dark rim, and a small seat. Scatter a handful of simple low-poly trees and rocks around the distant island shoreline; trees and rocks should be decorative scenery only.

The player is a very simple low-poly angler viewed from behind in third person: an orange/coral cylindrical torso, spherical peach head, and dark blue-gray cylindrical hat with a wide brim. Start the player near the end of the dock, facing the lake, with the camera behind and above them in an over-the-shoulder/third-person perspective. Allow WASD or arrow keys to stroll, mouse/touch dragging to look around, and Space to hop/jump. Keep the camera following the player with a third-person distance of roughly 8–9 world units, gravity, and a normal perspective view.

Implement the fishing loop with two large bottom-center pill buttons: “Cast line” and “Reel in.” Initially show Reel in disabled. Casting starts fishing, disables Cast line, places a small glowing golden bobber a short distance in front of the player over the water, and displays a thin pale fishing line from the angler’s hand/upper body to the bobber. Show the bobber gently bobbing. The bite should occur after a random wait of about 1.4–4 seconds. When it happens, show a small pale teal/silver stylized fish just below the bobber, make the bobber shake more noticeably, change the status to “A fish is nibbling!”, enable Reel in, and show the message “Tug! Tap “Reel in” before it gets away.” Pressing Reel in while a bite is active catches one fish: increment the fish counter, hide the line, bobber, and fish, reset the fishing state, re-enable Cast line, disable Reel in, and show “You caught a silverfin! The sunset approves.” There is no combat, inventory, timer, or failure state; the player can cast again after a successful catch.

Add a clean overlay HUD over the 3D view. In the upper-left, use a translucent dark plum rounded card with a subtle light border and shadow containing the uppercase title “GOLDEN HOUR FISHING” in warm cream and the subtitle “A quiet lake, a warm breeze, and one more cast.” In the upper-right, use a matching card reading “Fish 0” (with the number dynamically updated) and a status line that starts as “Ready to cast,” changes to “Line in the water…” during a cast, and changes to “A fish is nibbling!” during a bite. Center near the top, show a dark translucent rounded message card initially reading “Walk to the dock and cast a line.” Update it to “The lake is still… wait for a tug.” after casting and to the catch/tug messages described above. Near the bottom above the buttons, show the hint text “WASD / arrows to stroll · drag to look · Space to hop.” Make the HUD responsive, keep the canvas full-screen, use rounded pill-shaped warm cream buttons, and preserve the calm golden-hour atmosphere.
