Make your own game

Glyphblade Arena was built by Ephraim Ihungbe with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Glyphblade Arena opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Glyphblade Arena

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a portrait/mobile-ready browser game titled “Glyphblade Arena,” a bright chaotic 3D third-person arena brawler. Use a Three.js-style perspective camera following the player from behind and above at roughly 8 units distance, with a sky-blue background and light fog. The arena is a large white rectangular training deck with cyan horizontal rails, a glowing yellow circular ring on the floor, and four blue-purple 2x2x2 block obstacles near the corners. Use strong soft shadows, bright hemisphere and directional lighting, colorful emissive effects, and clean low-poly animated humanoid/mech characters.

At the start, show a full-screen dark navy/purple translucent overlay with a rounded gradient card. The card displays the large gradient logo “GLYPHBLADE,” the subtitle “A bright, chaotic 3D brawler where every swipe becomes a weapon. Knock out the rival bots before the clock hits zero,” chips reading “DRAW TO ATTACK,” “MOBILE READY,” and “NOVA FINISHER,” a “START FIGHT” button, and small text indicating this is a browser game slice where bots stand in for online opponents. Starting the fight hides the overlay and begins a 60-second round.

The player is a cyan/blue animated mech or humanoid named “YOU,” starting at the rear of the arena, with 100 health and a Nova meter starting at 0%. Spawn three rival bots with 70 health each: a pink rival at about (-4,-2), a purple rival at (4,-2), and a yellow rival at (0,-5). Give each character a circular colored glow/health-bar-like presentation and name labels in the world if visible, with the player visually distinct in cyan. The bots should move toward the player, orbit or drift with slight sinusoidal movement, back away when very close, turn to face the player, and periodically perform a punch attack when within about 4.5 units. A successful close punch removes 6 player health and adds a small amount to Nova. Bots have idle, walk, punch, run, and sword-slash style animation states as appropriate, and disappear when defeated.

The core attack is gesture drawing: while the round is running, the player swipes/drags across the screen (or uses pointer input), and the game treats the line from the first point to the last point as a weapon slash. Ignore very short swipes under about 28 pixels. The swipe direction determines the attack angle, and longer swipes create a longer glowing cyan curved slash arc and deal more damage: approximately 12 plus 0.14 times swipe length, capped by the target range check. Hit living bots within roughly 2.4 units plus a small length bonus and within about 1.1 radians of the swipe direction. On hit, show bright particles and floating pink damage text, play a short hit sound, and increase Nova by roughly 70% of damage dealt. Defeated bots vanish, increment the player score, and show floating gold “DOWN!” text.

Provide a blue DASH button and a pink/purple NOVA button at the bottom-right. DASH moves the player two units in the current facing/movement direction, has a one-second cooldown, emits purple particles, and briefly uses a run animation. NOVA can only be used when the meter reaches 100%; it resets the meter to zero, creates a large gold circular slash/energy effect, and deals 38 damage to every living bot within 7 units, showing “NOVA!” text and gold particles. The player can move using the mobile third-person controls/virtual movement input; keyboard/gamepad-style movement may also be supported, but preserve the mobile touch experience. Swiping on the play area attacks, while the HUD buttons trigger dash and Nova.

Build a fixed HUD over the 3D view. At top-left show “GLYPHBLADE” with the subtitle “DRAW · DASH · DOMINATE.” Center-top show a large countdown beginning at “01:00” and the mode label “BOT BRAWL.” Top-right show a rounded purple/blue panel labeled “YOUR HEALTH,” the numeric health value, a horizontal green-to-yellow health meter, and a gold “NOVA 0%” readout that updates with the meter. Along the bottom-left show a dark rounded instruction panel: “Swipe across the screen to draw a weapon. The longer and sharper the line, the harder the hit.” Along the bottom-right show the DASH and NOVA buttons, with the Nova button displaying the current percentage.

Add polished combat feedback: small colored spark particles that rise and fade, glowing cyan/pink/gold/purple slash arcs aligned with the attack direction, floating damage numbers and DOWN!/NOVA! labels, subtle sound beeps for hits and Nova, and animated character models with cast/receive shadows. Keep the aesthetic neon arcade fantasy/sci-fi: cyan, hot pink, violet, gold, deep navy UI gradients, rounded panels, bold condensed typography, and strong glow while retaining the clean pale arena floor.

The round ends when the player reaches zero health, the 60-second timer expires, or all three bots are defeated. Stop gameplay and show the overlay again with “PLAY AGAIN.” For defeat, use the title “DEFEAT” and text explaining the arena knocked the player out; for victory, use “VICTORY” and text such as “Clean sweep. You dropped 3/3 rivals.” Preserve the same responsive portrait layout, touch-safe controls, and prevent page scrolling or text selection during play.
