Gloomgate was built by TvdeCasa with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix Gloomgate opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Create a dark third-person 3D action game titled “Gloomgate.” The player controls a stylized armored warrior viewed from behind at a close over-the-shoulder/third-person distance, with mouse-controlled camera look and WASD movement. The warrior stands on a broad, dim forest clearing and path at night, carrying a short sword visibly attached at the right side. Use a dark blue-green palette, heavy atmospheric fog, soft moonlight, shadows, and subtle red fill light around the combat area. The environment should contain a long muted-brown/gray path through a circular forest floor, scattered low-poly pine trees and gray rocks on both sides, and an ancient gate structure farther along the path with a faint rotating pale teal rune/ring effect near its base. Use coherent low-poly fantasy assets and make trees, rocks, characters, and gate cast/receive shadows. Place a large green stylized ogre/orc boss called the “Hollow Warden” ahead of the player in the arena, facing and tracking the player. Give the boss a 100-point health bar. The objective shown at the start is: “Reach the gate. Defeat the Warden of the Hollow.” The player has 100 health. Space performs a sword strike, with a short cooldown; if the player is within roughly 4 units of the Warden, each successful strike deals 14 damage and triggers a boss hit reaction. When the Warden reaches zero health, stop combat, play its death animation, clear danger indicators, show the message “The gate is open,” and change the objective to “The Hollow falls. The forest remembers your name.” The Warden periodically attacks about every 3.1 seconds by spawning a large translucent red circular danger zone with a bright red outline centered on its current position. After approximately 1.15 seconds, damage the player for 25 health if the player is still within about 3.8 units and has not dodged, then remove the zone. Press C to dodge/roll, with a brief invulnerable dodge window and roughly 1.25-second cooldown; the dodge should avoid the zone damage. If health reaches zero, stop combat and show “You fell in the hollow.” Include walking/running, idle, sword attack, roll, boss punch, hit reaction, and death animations where available, and keep the boss looking toward the player. Build a minimal dark translucent HUD over the game: top-left rounded panel with the uppercase spaced title “GLOOMGATE” and the objective text; top-right rounded panel labeled “HOLLOW WARDEN” with a red horizontal health bar; bottom-left text “Health 100” updated live; and a centered bottom pill reading “WASD move · Mouse look · Space strike · C dodge.” On narrow/mobile screens, provide two circular touch buttons at bottom-right labeled “C” and a sword icon for dodge and attack. Show temporary centered uppercase combat messages such as “The red zone struck,” “The gate is open,” or “You fell in the hollow.” Keep the presentation atmospheric, sparse, and readable, with the fog obscuring distant forest detail and the camera framing the warrior in the foreground and the Warden down the path.
