Make your own game

Fruitbound Isles was built with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Fruitbound Isles opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Fruitbound Isles

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a browser-playable 3D third-person action survival game titled “Fruitbound Isles.” Use Three.js or an equivalent real-time 3D engine with a perspective camera following a blocky voxel-style player on a bright low-poly tropical island surrounded by ocean. The camera should sit behind and above the player (roughly 58-degree perspective, about 8 units back), with a sky-blue background and light blue atmospheric fog. Build the environment from chunky geometric primitives: a large tan/sandy central circular island made with a low-sided cylinder, smaller distant sandy islands, a broad blue ocean plane/cylinder underneath, many evenly spaced brown trunks with blocky green leaf crowns around the island edge, and several large dark rock props. Use directional sunlight, soft shadows, and colorful emissive materials for an attractive 32-bit-inspired look.

The player is a small stylized humanoid made from white and cyan/blue rectangular voxel blobs, with a blue head, gold accents, blocky arms, and a visible gold sword held to one side. Start the player near the front of the main island. Support third-person movement with WASD or arrow keys, jumping with Space, and faster running with Shift. Also provide mobile touch controls: a four-direction arrow pad, Q, E, sword/attack, and a large jump/action button. Keep the HUD as HTML overlay panels with a dark navy translucent glass appearance, cyan borders/highlights, gold labels, rounded corners, and responsive mobile layout.

Opening flow: show a full-screen dark navy radial-gradient title card with the tag “32-BIT ISLAND ACTION,” the large uppercase title “FRUITBOUND ISLES,” descriptive text about choosing a power and surviving escalating waves, and a gold “Choose Your Fruit” button. Clicking it opens a centered fruit selection panel titled “Choose one Devil Fruit” with the note that fruits are selected here rather than picked up in the world. Present seven selectable cards, with the selected card highlighted in gold: Fire, Ice, Rubber, Dragon, Lightning, Magma, and Dough. Each card displays its basic attack and two ability names exactly as follows: Fire—Flame Arc, Fire Burst, Meteor Ring; Ice—Frost Blade, Ice Spikes, Glacier Cage; Rubber—Stretch Punch, Bounce Barrage, Slingshot; Dragon—Dragon Claw, Roar Beam, Wing Rush; Lightning—Thunder Jab, Storm Orb, Chain Spark; Magma—Lava Fist, Magma Pool, Volcanic Rain; Dough—Mochi Smash, Dough Wall, Dough Barrage. Include a gold “Launch into the Isles” button. On launch, hide the menus and begin wave 1 with the HUD visible.

The chosen fruit should be represented by a bright, faceted/blocky fruit object or power color associated with the selected type. In gameplay, the player’s normal attack is triggered by mouse click or F and performs a short-range area hit around the player (about 4.2 world units), damaging every nearby enemy and creating a burst of colored square particles. Q and E are two separate abilities with a short cooldown (about 1.2 seconds): Q produces a large colored particle burst around the player and damages nearby enemies within about 7 units; E creates three glowing expanding-looking torus rings around the player and damages enemies within about 8 units. Match the selected fruit’s color in attacks and particles. Do not add projectile weapons or item pickups; the implemented combat is close-range area damage.

Spawn escalating enemy waves directly on the island. Enemies are chunky red block-built blob humanoids with dark accents that move toward the player and deal continuous contact damage when within about 2.2 units. Normal enemies begin with roughly 42 plus 9 per wave health, move at about 1.5 units/second, and award 70 score on defeat. Spawn 3 plus 2 times the current wave, capped at 13, with additional enemies replenishing the group if its count falls below the wave threshold. Every third wave also spawns one larger purple-and-gold blocky boss/titan, scaled to 1.7 times normal size, with roughly 180 plus 35 per wave health, slower movement around 1.1 units/second, contact damage around 10 HP/second, and a 300-point defeat reward. Show “BOSS WAVE — break the titan!” in the HUD on boss waves. Enemies flash/scale up briefly when hit, then burst into many colored square particles when defeated.

Rules and HUD: display the selected fruit in uppercase, current Wave, remaining Enemies, HP starting at 100, Score starting at 0, the current ability labels, “Attack: Click / F,” and boss status. Clearing all enemies for more than about 3 seconds advances to the next wave and spawns it. Normal enemy contact deals about 4 HP/second; boss contact deals about 10 HP/second. If HP reaches zero, reset HP to 100, reduce score by 100 without going below zero, reset to wave 1, clear current enemies, and spawn a new wave. Maintain the escalating wave-survival loop; there is no inventory or fruit pickup system and no separate island travel/progression requirement in the playable slice.

Add a bottom-center instruction strip reading “WASD / arrows move · Space jump · Click or F attack · Q / E skills · Shift run.” Make the game responsive: on narrow screens show the touch controls along the bottom and use a two-column fruit grid, while on desktop use a four-column fruit grid. Use blocky geometry, bright ocean/island colors, dark translucent UI, soft shadows, square particle effects, and a polished arcade presentation consistent with the visible title screen.
