Make your own game

Fruit Crush was built by jahanzaib adil with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Fruit Crush opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Fruit Crush

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a portrait-friendly mobile match-3 puzzle game titled “Fruit Crush.” Use a dark purple radial-gradient background and a centered vertical layout. At the top, show the title “🍓 Fruit Crush” in large pale-yellow text with a purple shadow, alongside two dark-purple rounded stat pills labeled SCORE and MOVES, initially showing 0 and 25. Beneath them, show the centered pale-yellow instruction text “Match 3 or more fruits!”.

The main play area is an 8-by-8 grid of fruit tiles. Put the grid inside a large rounded rectangular frame with a warm yellow-to-pink gradient border, a deep purple inset background, and a dark purple drop shadow. Each tile is a rounded rectangle with a purple diagonal gradient, subtle inset highlight, and bottom shadow. Fill tiles with one of six fruit symbols: 🍎, 🍊, 🍇, 🍉, 🍌, or 🍓, rendered large and centered. Generate the starting board randomly while preventing any immediate horizontal or vertical run of three identical fruits.

The player interacts by tapping/clicking one tile and then a neighboring tile directly above, below, left, or right to attempt a swap. The first selected tile should visibly scale down slightly, become brighter, and receive a pale-yellow outline. Tapping it again deselects it; tapping a non-adjacent tile changes the selection to that tile. Only orthogonally adjacent swaps are valid. After a swap, check the entire board for horizontal or vertical runs of three or more identical fruits. If the swap creates no match, immediately undo the swap, do not spend a move, and display “That swap made no match. Try another!”. If it creates a match, spend one move.

Resolve matches in a loop: animate every matched tile with a quick shrinking/fading pop animation, remove them, award 10 points per matched tile multiplied by the current chain number, then collapse fruits downward within each column and randomly refill the empty cells at the top using the six fruit symbols. Re-render and check for newly formed matches; continue resolving cascades. A chain of more than one should display “Nx combo! Keep crushing!” using the actual chain count. Otherwise return to “Match 3 or more fruits!”. Update the score and moves displays after every valid move and resolution. Disable interaction while animations/resolution are in progress.

When the 25 moves are exhausted, stop accepting moves and display “Game over! Score: X” with the final score. Include a prominent rounded pale-yellow “Restart” button below the board, with dark text and a small brown shadow. Restart resets the score to 0, moves to 25, clears game-over/selection state, creates a fresh valid 8-by-8 board, and restores the message “Match 3 or more fruits!”. Keep the interface touch-friendly, with no page scrolling, responsive sizing so the square board fits on mobile screens, and use the visual style shown: playful fruit emoji, deep plum/purple panels, bright cream text, and candy-like yellow/pink framing. Include the small hint below the board: “Tap one fruit, then a neighboring fruit to swap them.”
