Make your own game

Dustline Drift was built by skairipper69 with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Dustline Drift opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Dustline Drift

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a stylized low-poly 3D arcade kart racer called “Dustline Drift.” Use a warm desert palette and a third-person chase camera that follows the player kart from behind and slightly above, smoothly lagging as the kart moves, looking toward the kart. The world should have a pale orange/yellow sky with matching fog, a large flat orange-sand circular ground area, and a darker raised low-poly desert mesa beneath/around the race area. Light the scene with bright warm sunlight and soft shadows.

Build the race course as a closed elongated oval track, approximately 18 units wide-radius by 11 units deep-radius, made from many short rectangular dark-brown road segments laid end-to-end around the ellipse. Add regularly spaced small golden-yellow rectangular stripe/marker pieces on the track (roughly every third segment), plus golden rectangular outer markers/barriers around both sides of the oval. Scatter simple low-poly desert props outside the course: several tall cacti and chunky rocks in the surrounding sand. These are scenery only; do not add collision behavior unless needed for the visual recreation.

The player drives a small stylized low-poly kart, with three similarly styled rival karts circulating around the oval ahead/around the player. Position rivals on the track at different starting points, each with a slightly different constant speed and a small lane offset. The player starts on the oval and is driven around it using a normalized track parameter. Include steering left/right, acceleration, reverse/braking, drifting, and a drift-release boost. Arrow keys and WASD should work: Up/W accelerates, Down/S brakes or reverses, Left/A and Right/D steer. Space initiates drift only while steering and moving fast enough; on touch/mobile provide four large bottom controls: left arrow, right arrow, up/gas arrow, and a DRIFT button. Keep the buttons dark translucent rounded rectangles with white icons/text.

Driving behavior should feel arcade-like: smoothly accelerate toward forward speed while gas is held, slow toward a reverse/braking target when Down/S is held, and otherwise coast down. Clamp normal speed around -0.5 to 1.35. Steering affects lateral movement on the track. While drifting, require a steering direction and speed above about 0.2, build a drift charge over time (faster with stronger steering), and visibly yaw the kart slightly into the drift. Releasing drift dissipates charge; if the charge is above roughly 72%, trigger a short boost of about 1.1 seconds, raise speed strongly, and display the boost countdown. The drift charge should otherwise fall back toward zero. Continuously advance the player around the oval, wrap after a full revolution, and increment the lap counter. The race is three laps, represented in the HUD as Lap 1 / 3 initially; preserve the simple arcade loop rather than adding menus, weapons, health, or extra race systems.

Use a fixed HUD over the 3D scene. In the upper-left, show a rounded dark brown translucent panel with a pale border and shadow: gold uppercase title “DUSTLINE DRIFT,” a large white bold “Lap 1 / 3” value that updates, and a smaller gold status line that says “Drift charge 0%” and changes to “BOOST X.Xs” during boost. In the upper-right, show the instructional text: “Arrow keys / WASD to drive · Space to drift · Release drift to boost” in small pale cream text aligned right. The overall visual style should be clean, minimal, warm, low-poly desert racing: orange sand, tan/yellow course markers, dark brown track, simple geometry, soft fog, and no clutter.
