Dune Drift was built by hamza with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix Dune Drift opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Create a playable 3D low-poly arcade kart racer titled “Dune Drift.” Use Three.js-style real-time 3D rendering with a warm desert scene, a chase camera positioned behind and above the kart, and a smoothly looping circuit. The player drives a small low-poly green kart around a broad, dark charcoal road laid over golden sand. Build the track as a closed, gently irregular oval/circuit with multiple sweeping corners, a reddish-brown shoulder strip, repeating pale yellow lane markers, and barriers running along both road edges. Place a checkered start/finish line across the road, with red and green banner towers and checkered flags at the start. Surround the circuit with a large sandy dune field and scattered low-poly short and tall green cacti at varied distances, sizes, and rotations. Use strong warm sunlight, soft shadows, a peach/yellow sky-colored background, and light atmospheric fog; keep the visual language clean, chunky, colorful, and low-poly. Core gameplay is time-trial driving: start the kart near the beginning of the circuit, accelerate around the loop, complete laps, and chase faster lap times. The kart has speed, heading, and arcade steering physics. WASD or arrow keys steer left/right and accelerate; Shift or Z activates drifting; Space or Down brakes and, when nearly stopped, reverses; R resets the kart to its starting position. Also provide mobile/touch controls: left and right arrow buttons, plus Brake, Drift, and Gas buttons along the bottom of the screen. Make touch buttons visibly highlight while held. Implement drifting as the central mechanic. A drift only becomes active while the player is holding the drift control, steering, and traveling above roughly 7 speed. During a drift, let the kart slide sideways, turn more strongly, and fill a Drift Boost charge meter. On release, if the charge exceeds about 28%, consume the charge and trigger a boost: three tiers based on charge—Mini above 28%, Super above 56%, and Ultra above 82%—with progressively longer boost duration and stronger speed. Play a short power-up sound when a boost starts. While boosted, show bright orange flame cones behind the kart, increase acceleration/top speed, and display a visible “Boost!” indicator. Spawn small dust puffs behind both rear sides while drifting, and larger brown dust puffs when driving off-road. Driving off the road should slow the kart, reduce steering response, and gently push it back toward the nearest road center rather than stopping it instantly. Allow ordinary coasting and braking, clamp forward and reverse speeds, and support reverse only when braking at low speed. Detect a completed lap by tracking progress around the closed track; increment the lap counter, reset the lap timer, and retain/display the best lap time. Add a fixed translucent dark HUD over the 3D view. In the upper-left, show labeled Speed, Lap, Lap Time, and Drift Boost information. Speed is a rounded numeric value, Lap begins at 1, and Lap Time uses minutes and tenths of seconds. Under Drift Boost show a horizontal gradient charge bar progressing from blue through orange, and text that reads “Charge it,” “Mini,” “Super,” or “Ultra” according to charge. In the upper-right, show a compact control hint panel listing Drive: WASD / arrows, Drift: Shift or mobile Drift, Brake/Reverse: Space or Down, and Reset: R. Center a small translucent message panel near the top with instructional text such as “Drift a corner, then release for a boost.” Show the Boost! panel only while boosting. On small or touch screens, show the bottom mobile controls while retaining the HUD. Do not add AI racers, ghosts, pickups, hazards, multiple tracks, or other features not described.
