Make your own game

Dropzone Skirmish was built by peacer with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Dropzone Skirmish opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Dropzone Skirmish

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a browser-based 3D third-person arena shooter titled “Dropzone Skirmish,” with a colorful low-poly/blocky toy-like style. Show a large flat green grass arena under a bright sky-blue background with light fog, soft shadows, and a third-person camera following the player from about 8 units behind. Use a blocky humanoid character as the player, initially positioned near the front/center of the arena, and five visually identical blocky humanoid enemy bots spawned around the arena edges and corners. The player should face and aim in the camera direction, with a small white crosshair centered on screen.

Core gameplay: the objective is to eliminate all five bots. The player has 100 HP and each bot has 3 health points. Player shots are small bright yellow spheres/projectiles traveling rapidly in the camera’s forward direction; a shot hitting a bot reduces its health, hides/removes that bot when its health reaches zero, increments the score, and reduces the visible Targets count. Bots automatically face the player, slowly move toward the player when within 18 units, and fire red projectiles at the player when within 28 units, roughly every 1.5–2.8 seconds. Each enemy hit deals 12 damage. End the game with a large “VICTORY” message once all five targets are defeated. If player HP reaches zero, show “ELIMINATED.” For the eliminated result, show the subtitle “You got tagged. Drop back in and try another route.”; for a win, show “Arena clear — nice work.” Include a yellow “PLAY AGAIN” button that reloads/resets the game.

Controls and start state: support WASD/joystick-style third-person movement through the game’s third-person controls, jumping with Space, and shooting with either a left mouse click or a large touch-friendly circular FIRE button in the lower-right. The initial overlay says “DROP IN” and explains “WASD / joystick to move · click or FIRE to shoot · Space to jump”; hide this intro when the player first fires and begin active enemy behavior. Keep the player’s movement speed around 7, jump speed around 9, and gravity around -24. Add a brief visible player blaster model/weapon during firing if available, but do not add reloads, ammo, building, inventory, or other mechanics.

Arena and scenery: place simple rectangular cover obstacles around the field, including dark blue-gray blocks, brown blocks, and blue-gray barriers, approximately at positions corresponding to (-7,-4), (7,3), (0,-9), (11,-9), and (-12,9), plus a row of five low brown platforms along the far side. Add several low-poly rock/cliff props around the outer arena, simple wall pieces along the left, right, and rear boundaries, and a corner wall element. Add a thin translucent yellow circular ring on the ground around the central play area. The objects should cast and receive soft shadows. The arena should feel open but provide cover visually.

HUD/UI: use fixed HTML-style overlays over the 3D view. At top-left, show a dark translucent rounded panel with bold uppercase “DROPZONE SKIRMISH.” At top-right, show a matching panel with “HP 100” and “Targets 5,” using yellow/gold for the numeric values; update both values live. Place a small white crosshair at screen center. At bottom-left, show a dark translucent rounded help panel reading “Clear the arena. Find cover, circle the bots, and land your shots.” At bottom-right, show an orange-red circular FIRE button with a white outline and bold white label. The initial DROP IN banner and end-state banner should be centered toward the upper-middle of the screen with large white text, subtle shadow, explanatory subtitle, and the yellow PLAY AGAIN button. Make the UI responsive for desktop and mobile screens.
