Make your own game

Dropbound Duo was built by vejadeg273 with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Dropbound Duo opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Dropbound Duo

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a browser-based 3D third-person adventure puzzle game titled “Dropbound Duo,” using a colorful low-poly/isometric-feeling presentation with a smooth follow camera. The player controls a small stylized animated boy character on a tiny rectangular green island surrounded by a blue river. Use a bright sky-blue background with atmospheric fog, soft shadows, warm sunlight, and simple low-poly geometry. The island should have two grassy banks separated by a north-south river, with a brown wooden bridge crossing the river near the middle. Place scattered blocky gray stone obstacles around the banks, several simple low-poly trees around the island perimeter, and dark green boundary walls along the back and sides. At the far back/north edge, add a closed gate made from a large reddish-orange rectangular door panel in the wall, with a floating “GATE” world label. Near the right/southeast side, place a glowing cyan-blue faceted seed/crystal with a “SEED” label. Also place a chunky orange-brown cube crate toward the left-center of the island, and a golden-yellow square pressure plate toward the right side near the seed/approach to the gate.

The core objective is a short environmental puzzle: begin with the status/task “Find the glowing seed.” When the primary player approaches the glowing seed, collect it automatically, hide/remove the seed, and update the task to “Pick up the crate and take it to the plate.” The player can use an interaction called PICK (keyboard E or an on-screen button) while near the crate; picking it up makes the crate disappear/considered carried and updates the task to “The plate is ready — reach the gate.” When the player carrying the crate reaches the golden pressure plate, open the gate by lifting the door panel upward and update the task to “Gate open — cross to the next round!” The game does not need combat enemies or multiple rounds; the open-gate message is the endpoint. Keep the crate/seed/plate/gate state visibly simple and puzzle-focused.

Provide a polished start overlay over the 3D scene: dark translucent navy full-screen gradient, centered rounded panel, small cyan badge reading “ORIGINAL 3D ADVENTURE SLICE,” large title “Dropbound Duo,” and description: “Explore a tiny island, collect the glowing seed, carry the crate onto the pressure plate, and open the gate. Choose solo or local co-op.” Include two prominent buttons, mint/green “Play Solo” and amber “Local Co-op.” Add the hint text “Desktop: WASD + Space · Co-op player 2: arrow keys · Mobile: use the joystick and action buttons.”

On Play Solo, hide the start overlay and show a compact translucent status pill in the top-left. Prefix its text with “SOLO ·”; show the current puzzle task. On Local Co-op, prefix it with “CO-OP ·” and spawn a second stylized animated girl character near the first player. Player 1 uses WASD for movement and Space for jumping through a third-person character controller; Player 2 in co-op uses the arrow keys and moves independently. Clamp both characters to the island play area. Add mobile-friendly controls through a virtual joystick for movement and touch action buttons. In the lower-right, show translucent rounded action buttons labeled “PICK,” “PUNCH,” “CRAWL,” and “SWIM.” PICK performs the crate interaction. PUNCH triggers a brief punch animation and can update the status to “Punch action”; CRAWL triggers a brief roll/crawl-style animation; SWIM triggers a walk/swimming action and a short status message “Swimming across the river,” with a subtle bobbing/swimming presentation while active. These actions are simple animation demonstrations rather than combat mechanics.

Use animated low-poly humanoid models with idle and locomotion animations, cast/receive shadows, and distinct boy/girl avatars. Make the cyan seed emissive/glowing, the plate clearly golden, and the open gate movement obvious. Use a clean, modern dark navy HUD with rounded corners, white text, cyan badge accents, mint and amber buttons, and responsive sizing for desktop and mobile. The camera should follow Player 1 at a moderate distance in a 58-degree perspective, keeping the island puzzle readable while allowing free third-person movement.
