Make your own game

Dancing Cubes was built by barnabé ilunga tshibangu with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Dancing Cubes opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Dancing Cubes

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a playable third-person 3D collection game titled "Dancing Cubes". Set it in a dark, neon digital dreamscape viewed through a perspective camera that follows the player from behind at about 8 units distance. The scene should have a nearly black navy/purple background with exponential fog, a large circular dark-purple floor, and a faint cyan/purple square grid across the arena. Add sparse pale-blue star/dust points high and around the scene. Use dramatic cyan and magenta point lights that move slowly around the arena, producing a pulsing cyberpunk atmosphere.

The player is a glowing white cubic avatar, about 1.15 units wide, positioned initially near the edge of the arena at (0, 1.2, 8). Give it cyan emissive lighting, a slightly metallic reflective material, continuous slow rotation on its X and Y axes, and a thin magenta torus ring around it that rotates and gently pulses in size. Allow third-person movement with WASD or arrow keys, and jumping/hopping with Space. Use smooth movement, approximately 7 movement speed, 8 jump speed, and gravity around -22. The camera follows the moving cube in third person.

Place exactly 12 collectible glowing cubes/prisms in a broad circular/radial arrangement around the player. Their positions should be calculated around a circle with angles evenly spaced across 12 points; use varying radii of roughly 5, 7.1, and 9.2 units based on index, and alternate their heights between about 1.35 and 2.1. Color them cyclically cyan, hot pink, violet, yellow, and mint green. Each cube should be smaller than the player (about 0.82 units), emissive, slightly metallic, and continuously rotate around X/Y while bobbing vertically in a sinusoidal motion and subtly pulsing in scale, creating the dancing effect. When the player comes within about 1.35 units of a collectible, hide it and increment the collection score. There are no enemies, hazards, timer, lives, combat, or other obstacles: the goal is simply to move and collect all 12 prisms.

Build a fixed screen HUD over the 3D view. At upper left show the small uppercase label "DANCING CUBES // DREAMSCAPE" in cyan with glow, and beneath it show the large white collection counter initially "0 / 12" with a pink glow. At lower left show the instruction text "WASD / ARROWS TO DRIFT · SPACE TO HOP · COLLECT THE PRISMS" in small uppercase muted lavender lettering. On initial load, cover the scene with a centered translucent dark radial-gradient start overlay. Its bordered card should contain the large glowing uppercase title "DANCING CUBES", the subtitle "Step into a pulsing digital dreamscape. Move through the rhythm field and catch every luminescent prism.", and a neon outlined gradient button labeled "ENTER THE DREAM". Starting the game hides this overlay and resets the player, all 12 cubes, score, and elapsed animation state.

When all 12 cubes have been collected, stop active gameplay and show a centered translucent completion overlay using the same card styling. Display the heading "Dream complete", the message "Every prism is glowing with your rhythm.", and a button labeled "DANCE AGAIN". Clicking it resets the game and starts another collection run. Keep the visual style faithful to the screenshot: clean minimalist UI, glowing cyan and magenta neon, white typography with wide letter spacing, dark blue/purple dreamscape, and no extra gameplay systems or invented features.
