Make your own game

Colossus Pixel was built by Daniel Alejandro Alvarado Tobar with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Colossus Pixel opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Colossus Pixel

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a playable pixel-art arcade runner titled "Colossus Pixel" (the in-game branding can read "LANEBREAK // PIXEL COLOSSUS" / "COLOSSUS RUN") in Spanish. Use a responsive full-screen 320x180 canvas rendered with hard, pixelated edges and no smoothing, with HTML HUD overlays. The camera is a fixed, centered, forward-facing view down a dark futuristic four-lane runway: a deep navy starry sky fills the background, a dark blue platform begins around the middle/lower half, four cyan lane-divider lines extend toward the viewer, and repeated horizontal blue/cyan grid bars create a sense of forward motion and depth. Keep the visual style minimalist 8-bit/16-bit pixel art, with a nearly black navy palette, bright cyan grid, red/orange hazards, and monospace arcade typography.

The player is a small red pixel runner/robot at the bottom center of the runway, occupying one of four lanes. Draw it from the front/back as a blocky sprite: red head/body and limbs, dark navy legs/boots and helmet-like dark head detail with a cyan visor stripe. The player smoothly moves between adjacent lanes, clamped to the four lanes, using A/D or Left/Right arrow keys; provide large on-screen left and right arrow buttons for touch. Space, Enter, or a central gold-outlined "LANZAR" button is the attack control. P pauses/unpauses. Include a fullscreen button at lower right.

Start with an intro overlay reading "COLOSSUS RUN" and a subtitle explaining the four-lane pixel runner and controls. Begin/restart the run when the player moves or attacks, and also automatically begin after the intro has been displayed briefly. During the run, the player continuously advances down the runway while the game simulates forward movement: distance increases, score increases gradually, and speed rises from roughly 72 toward a cap around 120. Spawn incoming hazards at the top of the lanes that travel toward the player. Most are gray rectangular barriers with orange warning stripes; some are red/orange spikes. Each spawn leaves at least one open lane, and occasionally a pair of lanes are blocked. The player must change lanes to avoid hazards. A collision costs one of 3 lives, resets the player to the center lane, resets the combo, briefly grants invulnerability with a blinking sprite, and shows a status message; at zero lives show a centered "RUN ENCERRADA" game-over overlay telling the player to press LANZAR or an arrow to retry. Successfully passing an obstacle raises the combo and awards points.

Occasionally place a bright green power pickup in an open lane. It is a small glowing plus/cross-like pixel shape. Collecting it increases the displayed POWER counter and awards points; after collecting 3, consume/reset the counter, grant temporary protection/invulnerability, increase speed, and show a "POWER RUSH · protegido" status message. The top-left HUD is a bordered dark panel with the cyan title and a status line. The top-right bordered panel shows Spanish labels and values: "PUNTOS", "POWER 0/3", and "COMBO x0". Show "DISTANCIA" and the current distance in the lower-left of the canvas during the run. At the bottom center, show a subtle control hint on desktop: "A/D o flechas: mover · Espacio: lanzar · P: pausar"; on narrow screens it may be hidden. Put the three touch buttons along the bottom: left arrow, gold-accented LANZAR, right arrow.

After the run distance exceeds about 350, transition into a stationary boss arena. Clear normal hazards and pickups and stop forward speed. Display a large dark gray/black pixel Colossus near the upper center, with a wide blocky body, head plates, red glowing eyes/details, red side arms/accents, and a slight idle horizontal bob. Label it "COLOSSUS // FASE 1" and display a centered red boss health bar with a dark red background and bright red fill. The boss fires red/orange pixel projectiles down random lanes at regular intervals; the player continues changing among the four lanes to dodge them. In boss mode, pressing attack launches a narrow yellow-white pixel projectile upward from the player’s current lane. When a projectile reaches the boss, reduce boss health by 5 and award points. The boss has three phases: phase 1 at full health, phase 2 when health reaches 66 or less, and phase 3 at 33 or less; enemy shots become more frequent/faster as phases increase. Show the current phase below the boss.

When boss health reaches zero, stop gameplay and show a centered victory overlay: "JEFE DERROTADO", the total damage, and a calculated ranking line, plus a prompt to attack again to restart; status should indicate pixel victory. Attacking or moving from dead/victory/intro should restart as appropriate. Preserve the simple HUD and dark pixelated presentation throughout. Add short square-wave arcade beeps for lane movement, attacks, damage, pickups, boss entry, and boss hits if audio is available. Do not add weapons, enemies, levels, power-ups, menus, or mechanics beyond this four-lane endless run into the single Colossus boss encounter.
