Make your own game

City Drive was built by Yasar with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix City Drive opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for City Drive

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a browser-based 3D driving game titled “City Drive.” Use a third-person chase camera behind and slightly above a small sports hatchback, looking forward down a long straight urban road. The scene should use a clean, stylized low-poly/asset-pack aesthetic with soft shadows, a pale blue sky, atmospheric blue fog toward the horizon, and a broad city avenue extending far into the distance.

World layout: Make the main road a dark navy/charcoal asphalt strip about 22 units wide, extending several hundred units forward. Add bright yellow solid edge lines on both sides and three sets of white dashed lane-divider markings, so the road has four lanes. Add gray sidewalks outside the road and broad dark cross streets/intersections at intervals down the avenue. On both sides, populate a receding skyline of assorted modern skyscraper/commercial buildings in blue-gray colors, arranged in rows with varied heights and rotations. Add evenly spaced roadside trees along both sidewalks: brown cylindrical trunks with round green canopies, plus some larger stylized trees farther outside the sidewalks. Use directional sunlight, ambient hemisphere lighting, shadow casting/receiving, and distance fog so the buildings and trees fade into the horizon.

Player: Place a green sports hatchback near the bottom center of the view, facing forward along the road. It should have a visible dark soft oval shadow underneath and a slightly toy-like 3D model appearance. The car can subtly tilt/roll while steering and bob very slightly while moving. Start it around the center of the road. Keep it constrained to a broad playable area (approximately x=-18 to x=18), but allow free driving rather than lane snapping.

Driving mechanics: Support keyboard controls: W or Up Arrow accelerates forward, S or Down Arrow drives/brakes backward, and A/D or Left/Right Arrow steer left/right. Steering should turn the car’s heading proportionally to its current speed, with smooth acceleration toward a target speed and natural drag when no throttle is held. Move the car forward according to its heading, update the chase camera smoothly behind it, and have the camera look toward the car/front roadway. Track traveled forward distance in meters and display the rounded distance. Also provide touch controls on narrow/mobile screens: four circular buttons near the bottom center for left, forward/up, backward/down, and right; hold buttons to apply the same steering/throttle inputs. Hide these mobile buttons on wider desktop screens.

HUD: Overlay the game without blocking the 3D view. In the upper-left, show a dark translucent rounded rectangular panel with a subtle border/shadow and the branding “CITY DRIVE” in uppercase blue lettering, plus the Azerbaijani subtitle “İdman maşını ilə şəhəri gəz”. In the upper-right, show a matching dark translucent rounded panel with the distance such as “51 m” in large bold white text and a row of three bright heart icons. Preserve the displayed three-heart life indicator (with empty/dark hearts possible if the value changes), but do not add collision, enemy, traffic, fuel, weapons, or obstacle mechanics: this implementation is simply free city driving with a distance counter. At the bottom center, show the Azerbaijani help text “W / ↑ qaz, S / ↓ əyləc — A / D ilə şəhərdə sərbəst sür” in small light text. Match the screenshot’s portrait/mobile composition: the car occupies the lower center, road dominates the foreground, skyline and trees frame both sides, and the HUD panels float above the scene.
