Make your own game

City Courier was built by bernierj88 with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix City Courier opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for City Courier

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a browser-based playable game titled “City Courier” using a full-screen HTML canvas with a fixed HUD overlay. Use a stylized, minimal low-poly pseudo-3D perspective: the camera is positioned behind and slightly above a small courier bicycle/moped, with the player vehicle held near the lower center of the screen while the city scrolls and rotates around it. Render the world with a simple projection from world x/z coordinates into screen space, and draw a gradient sky that transitions from pale blue at the top to a light horizon and then a dark green road/ground area. Build a sparse city from rectangular block buildings arranged around the player in a grid: muted slate blue, dusty red, tan, green, and purple cuboid buildings with visible top and shaded side faces. Add dark overhead utility wires as straight lines crossing the sky in a grid-like arrangement.

The player is a brightly colored stylized courier rider on a bicycle/moped. Draw two black circular wheels, a cyan/selected-color angular frame, a small cyan seat or rear detail, a red-orange torso/shirt, a peach circular head, and a cyan helmet/hair shape. Add a subtle bobbing animation. The bike should rotate visually during wheelies and rise slightly while wheelie is active. The initial bike color is cyan (#4ed7ff), with available repaint colors pink/red (#ff5577), cyan, yellow (#f5c84b), and purple (#a67cff).

Implement direct driving controls: W or Up Arrow accelerates forward, S or Down Arrow moves backward, A/D or Left/Right Arrow steer, and Space performs a wheelie only while moving forward. Include equivalent on-screen touch buttons at the bottom-left: left arrow, forward/up arrow, right arrow, and a prominent WHEELIE button. Keep the player position bounded within approximately -40 to 40 on both world axes. Movement should use a heading and throttle, with steering changing heading and forward/backward movement following the heading.

The central gameplay loop is pizza delivery. Place four fixed customer destinations in the world at approximately (15,15), (-15,5), (5,-16), and (-5,16), visited in sequence and looping after the fourth. Draw the active destination as a glowing yellow circular marker in the scene with an orange “PIZZA” label above it. The HUD should show a centered delivery panel near the top reading “Deliver to customer 1” (updating to the current customer number), plus a horizontal progress bar whose fill increases as the player approaches the target. When the player comes within roughly 2.4 world units of the active target, award
5, show a brief “+
5 delivery complete” toast, and advance to the next destination. Create a dark translucent, rounded top-left HUD card labeled “CITY COURIER”, showing the current cash as a large yellow dollar amount and the text “Deliver pizza. Earn cash. Own the streets.” At top right, show a help card reading “WASD / arrows ride · SPACE wheelie” and a pill/tag saying “Find the glowing customer”; hide this help card on narrow mobile screens. At bottom-right, add a “BIKE SHOP · customize” panel with four circular color swatches and a “Turbo upgrade · $50” button. Clicking a color swatch costs
0 if the player has enough money, changes the bike frame color, subtracts the money, and displays “Bike color changed”; otherwise display “Need
0 to repaint”. Clicking the turbo button costs $50 if affordable, increases the player’s speed by 2, and displays “Turbo installed”; otherwise display “Need $50 for turbo”. Start with 0 money and speed 7. Use short-lived centered pill-shaped toast notifications for purchases and delivery rewards. Use a clean arcade UI style: translucent navy/black panels, white text, cyan accents, yellow money, rounded corners, subtle shadows, and responsive sizing for desktop and mobile. The game must be immediately playable with keyboard and pointer/touch controls, continuously update movement, delivery progress, money, and target text, and continuously render the projected city, destination marker, and courier bike. Do not add enemies, traffic, combat, timers, lives, inventory, or other gameplay systems beyond the delivery, wheelie, customization, and turbo mechanics described here.
