Make your own game

Bowling Night 3D was built by Amit with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Bowling Night 3D opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Bowling Night 3D

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a mobile-friendly 3D bowling game titled “Bowling Night 3D.” Use a warm stylized neon-evening aesthetic: a long polished wooden bowling lane viewed from a low third-person perspective behind the ball, deep purple floor and lane beds, cyan and pink glowing lane-edge strips, amber foul line, gutters, kickbacks, a dark pin pit, and a glowing “BOWLING NIGHT” sign above the pin deck. The sky/background should be a large sunset gradient sphere with orange near the horizon, pink/mauve midtones, dark violet overhead, a bright sunset glow, and scattered stars. Add warm atmospheric lighting, soft shadows, fog, emissive neon materials, and occasional small glowing particle bursts when pins are hit. The environment can include neighboring lanes, benches, tables, floor lamps, potted plants, and speakers as background decoration.

Core gameplay: each level is a trick bowling lane with a ball starting near the foul line and a rack of up to 10 standard white bowling pins with two red neck bands. The player gets up to two rolls per lane. The goal is to knock down as many pins as possible; show three star thresholds per level and award 0–3 stars based on the final number of pins down. After the first roll, remove fallen pins and let the player take roll two at the remaining standing pins. If all pins fall on roll one, show “STRIKE!”; if all remaining pins fall on roll two, show “SPARE!”; otherwise show the pins knocked down, “MISS,” or a small increment result. Let pins physically slide, collide, tilt, spin, fall, and drop into the pit. Use simple arcade physics rather than requiring realistic simulation.

Touch/mouse controls: while aiming, dragging sideways moves the ball left or right across the approach, constrained inside the lane. Swiping upward launches the ball; faster upward swipes produce a faster ball. Let the player curve the swipe, using the sideways curvature to add left or right hook spin. Display a fading colored gesture trail over the screen while swiping. Show a translucent pulsing aiming guide ahead of the ball. On desktop keyboard, support Left/Right arrows to aim, A/D to adjust spin, Space/Up/W to bowl, P or Escape to pause, and M to mute. Include a first-play hint overlay explaining “Drag sideways to aim · Swipe UP to bowl · Curve your swipe for spin.”

Implement ten selectable levels with these exact names and mechanics: 1) “Warm Up,” normal classic rack, bumpers raised along both sides, goals 5/8/10; 2) “Open Lane,” no bumpers, classic rack, goals 5/8/10; 3) “Pillar Pair,” two purple cylindrical obstacles around x=-0.48 and +0.48 near z=-9, goals 4/7/10; 4) “Slow Slide,” the standing pin rack shifts side-to-side, goals 4/7/10; 5) “Hump Hill,” an orange raised hump/ramp across the lane around z=-8 that requires enough speed to cross (a slow ball reverses/rolls back), goals 4/7/10; 6) “Split Decision,” a split arrangement of six pins in two groups, goals 2/4/6; 7) “Gate Keeper,” bumpers plus a cyan sliding wall/obstacle near z=-10 with a moving gap, goals 4/7/10; 8) “Breeze Belt,” a glowing animated directional belt from about z=-6 to -11 that pushes the ball right, plus a purple pillar near the right side around z=-13.6, goals 4/7/10; 9) “Narrow Night,” a narrower lane, side-to-side moving pin rack, and a fast moving wall near z=-11, goals 4/7/10; 10) “Grand Finale,” combining an orange hump, moving wall, directional belt pushing left near the pin deck, and moving pin rack, goals 3/6/10. Use level tip messages matching these mechanics, such as bumper, gutter, timing, hill-speed, split, moving-wall, belt, narrow-lane, and finale advice.

Ball presentation: use a glossy red-orange “Ember” ball by default. Include eight unlockable ball skins with visible thumbnails and names: Ember (free), Ocean (2 stars), Mint Swirl (5), Candy (8), Polka Night (12), Galaxy (16), Lava Glow (21, emissive), and Golden Sun (26, metallic). Generate their simple colorful textures procedurally or with canvas-like patterns. Persist unlocked stars, selected skin, whether the tutorial hint has been shown, and mute state in local storage.

HUD during play: at the top center show the current level number and name, then pill-shaped labels for “Roll 1/2” or “Roll 2/2,” “Pins fallen/total,” and the level’s three star goals (for example “★ 5 · 8 · 10”). Show the current spin direction/strength when keyboard spin is used. At the top corners provide a home button, help/question button, music/mute button, and pause button. Use large centered banners such as “GUTTER,” “STRIKE!,” “SPARE!,” “MISS,” “1 PIN,” or “+N,” plus temporary bottom tips.

Menus and flow: the title screen should be a centered rounded dark-purple card with an orange/pink glowing “BOWLING NIGHT 3D” heading, the subtitle “Trick lanes under a warm evening sky. Swipe, curve, and knock them all down.”, and Play and How to Play buttons. Play opens a “Choose a Lane” screen with a 5-by-2 level grid, each level showing 0–3 stars, a total counter such as “★ 0 / 30,” and a Ball Skins section. The How to Play screen should explain sideways aiming, upward swipe launch, curved swipe spin, two rolls, three-star goals, trick-lane obstacles, skin unlocks, and keyboard controls. Pause should offer Resume, Restart, and Level Select. After a lane, show a results card with title, three animated stars, pins/total, goals, unlock or next-star messaging, Retry, and Next. After completing the tenth lane show a “MISSION COMPLETED” screen with total stars and options for Level Select or Play Again.

Audio: start synthesized WebAudio on user interaction. Play a quiet looping ambient chord progression/music bed, a rolling noise whose volume follows ball speed, bowl and gutter sounds, bump/obstacle sounds, pin impact clacks, celebratory ascending tones for strikes/spares and star-award tones. Include mute persistence and optional short vibration feedback on bowling, impacts, gutters, and celebrations. Ensure the game is playable in portrait mobile view as well as desktop, with responsive camera framing and large touch-friendly buttons.
