Make your own game

Bloom Borough was built by Lisa Macumber with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Bloom Borough opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Bloom Borough

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a playable third-person social exploration game titled “Bloom Borough.” Set it in a cheerful low-poly 3D neighborhood called Sunny Plaza: a large circular grassy green plaza under a bright cyan sky with matching cyan fog, a wide peach-colored circular/ring path, six stylized palm-like trees around the perimeter, two pink benches, and two simple bubble lamps with blue-gray poles and glowing pale-yellow orb lights. Place three blocky low-poly character avatars in the world: the player starts near the front of the plaza at approximately the center (with a third-person camera following them), Mimi stands toward the back-left, and Jax stands toward the right/back area. Add three simple colorful low-poly homes/buildings, including Mimi’s home on the left/back, Jax’s home on the right/front, and the player’s home on the right/back. Use soft shadows, pastel colors, rounded glossy UI styling, and an inviting casual life-sim/social-game mood. The avatar and neighbors should be static/idle except that the player can walk around and face their movement direction.

Use a controllable third-person camera with the player as its target, movement speed around 6.4, gravity and a jump, and support keyboard WASD plus an on-screen joystick/touch-style movement control. Let the player freely explore the plaza. Show a brief toast near the top saying “Use the joystick or WASD to explore 🌈” shortly after loading. Do not add combat, enemies, quests, inventory, or win/lose conditions.

Build a fixed responsive HUD over the 3D scene. At the top-left, show a large white/pale-pink rounded brand card reading “Bloom Borough 🌈,” with “Borough” in bright pink. At the top-right, show rounded pills for “✨ 248” (the star currency, with 248 highlighted orange), “🏡 My Home,” and “🎨 Design.” Near the lower-left, show a translucent white rounded card labeled “SUNNY PLAZA,” with the headline “Make your own vibe” and the text “Walk around, meet the neighborhood, send emojis, then style your home with glossy color pops.” Include two colorful buttons: “👋 Wave” and “🕺 Emote.” Clicking Wave should add a “You — waves hello 👋” message to chat and briefly show a toast “Your avatar waved!” Clicking Emote should add “You — is doing a happy emote 🎉” and show “Emote sent to nearby chat.”

At the lower-right, show a translucent rounded “💬 Borough Chat” panel with a green “● 7 nearby” indicator. Pre-populate it with Mimi saying “Anyone at the plaza? 🌟” and Jax saying “I love your new roof! 🏡”. Provide an input with placeholder “Say something nice…” and a Send button. Pressing Send or Enter adds the typed message as a new message from You, clears the input, and scrolls the message list. Add five emoji shortcut buttons—😊, 🔥, ✨, 🫶, 🎉—that immediately send the selected emoji as a message from You. Keep messages limited to 80 typed characters.

Make the “🎨 Design” button open a translucent “Home studio” panel near the upper-right with a close button, the heading “Pick a palette,” four color swatches (pink, cyan, yellow, purple), and the instruction “Tap furniture to place a new room item.” Include four furniture buttons: “🛋️ Sofa,” “🪴 Plant,” “💡 Lamp,” and “🟣 Rug.” Selecting a swatch updates the player home palette state and briefly shows “Home palette updated ✨.” Selecting a furniture item subtracts 12 stars, never allowing the count below zero, updates the displayed star count, and shows “[item] added to your home.” The interface should remain usable on desktop and mobile, with the chat spanning most of the lower screen on narrow displays and the left information card raised above it. Use rounded cards, white borders, soft shadows, dark navy text, pink/cyan/yellow accent gradients, and friendly bold rounded typography similar to Nunito/Baloo.”
