Ashes of the Eternal was built by Brutal Ghost with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Read the build brief for Ashes of the Eternal

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a third-person 3D action-adventure game titled "Ashes of the Eternal," set in a dark, stylized low-poly volcanic ash valley called Ashen Valley / Gorak's Pass. Use a gloomy near-black and brown environment with exponential fog, warm orange sunlight and rim lighting, and strong cast shadows. The camera should follow behind and slightly above the player in a close third-person perspective, with mouse-look and a centered player character.

The player is Aryan, represented by a detailed humanoid fantasy warrior in armor: broad shoulder plates, dark metal torso armor, bracers, a patterned reddish-brown skirt/tabard, boots, and visible brown hair. Start Aryan near the foreground at coordinates equivalent to the southern end of a long ash path, facing north toward the pass. Build a large flat ash-colored ground plane and a contrasting brown path extending through the valley. Surround it with scattered, irregular low-poly dark brown rocks and large angular rock formations. At the far end, include a shrine gateway made from two tall square stone pillars and a broad lintel, then an obsidian altar at the black-flame shrine. The black flame is represented by a hovering faceted black/dark-crimson glowing core above the altar, surrounded by an orange glowing ring and a flickering nearby orange light. The level should visibly feel like a narrow rocky pass leading toward this destination.

The core goal is to reach the black flame shrine and survive the Ashborn patrol. Place three ordinary Ashborn enemies along the route and one Stone Guardian nearer the shrine. They can be simple dark reddish-brown low-poly capsule-like humanoid creatures; the Stone Guardian should be gray-blue and tougher. When an enemy detects the player within roughly 10 units, have it move directly toward the player and attack at close range, reducing player Vitality. Normal Ashborn deal 7 damage approximately every 1.2 seconds while close; the Stone Guardian deals 13 damage approximately every 2 seconds. Defeated enemies disappear and award score: ordinary enemies award 100 points, while special-area kills can award 120 for the resolve attack.

When Aryan advances beyond the shrine area (past approximately z=-25), spawn the boss Gorak, the Mountain Eater, farther up the pass at approximately z=-38. Gorak is a huge stylized low-poly stone monster: a large faceted gray dodecahedral body, scaled tall and wide, with two separate massive rocky fists and a bright orange-red glowing core on its front. Give him 600 health and three phases. In phase 1, periodically damage the player for 16 every 2.3 seconds; below 400 health, phase 2 deals 22 damage every 1.7 seconds and shifts side-to-side; below 200 health, phase 3 deals 28 damage every 1.25 seconds and advances slightly toward the player. Show a boss health bar only after Gorak appears. The player must defeat Gorak, then approach the black flame core and press E when close enough to activate the victory state. Afterward change the objective text to "Gorak has fallen. Touch the black flame shrine." and, when the interaction succeeds, show "The First Flame remembers Aryan."

Implement the player combat and weapon system. The default weapon is the short glowing sword named "Vajra-Fang." Press Q to cycle through three weapons: Vajra-Fang, Stonebreaker, and Skythread Bow. Visually swap the held weapon: use a narrow metallic blade for Vajra-Fang, a chunky gray hammer for Stonebreaker, and a cyan/blue glowing half-bow for Skythread Bow. Left mouse and right mouse attacks should perform the available attack against nearby targets; use weapon-specific effective ranges and damage: Vajra-Fang range about 3.5 and 15 damage, Stonebreaker range about 4.6 and 25 damage, Skythread Bow range about 11 and 18 damage. The bow should be able to hit at longer range even though this can be represented as a direct-range attack rather than requiring visible projectiles. Add a brief held-weapon swing/rotation response on attack.

Press R to perform a resolve/special attack if Resolve is at least 25. It consumes 25 Resolve and damages all nearby ordinary enemies within about 7 units for 40, and Gorak within about 12 units for 55. Resolve regenerates continuously at about 8 points per second up to 100. Vitality starts at 100 and cannot drop below zero. Keep movement third-person with WASD, mouse look, Space for dodge/jump behavior, and Shift for sprint behavior through the movement controller; use a ground collider and gravity. Include the keyboard/mouse instructions in the HUD: "WASD move · Mouse look · LMB light · RMB heavy · Space dodge · Shift sprint · Q switch · R special" (mobile layouts may hide this instruction line).

Create a minimalist cinematic HUD over the game. In the upper-left display gold spaced uppercase text "ASHES OF THE ETERNAL" and beneath it "ASHEN VALLEY // GORAK'S PASS." In the upper-right show the current objective, initially "Reach the black flame shrine." In the lower-left show two labeled horizontal bars: "VITALITY" with a dark red-to-orange fill and "RESOLVE" with a gold fill, both initially full. In the lower-right show the current weapon name in large spaced uppercase text and the hint "Q switch · R special." When Gorak is active, display a centered top boss panel labeled "GORAK, THE MOUNTAIN EATER" with a dark red health bar. When Gorak is defeated, hide that boss panel. When Aryan is near the defeated shrine core, show a centered interaction prompt: "E TOUCH THE BLACK FLAME." Keep the visual style low-poly, moody, shadow-heavy, and atmospheric, with restrained serif-like/cinematic sans-serif HUD typography, amber/gold accents, dark maroon UI backgrounds, and no bright colorful scenery outside the shrine and weapon glows.
