Make your own game

Alpine Drift was built by Declan Martin with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Alpine Drift opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a playable browser 3D endless downhill sledding game titled “Alpine Drift,” using a clean low-poly/isometric-ish third-person camera positioned behind and slightly above the player. The scene is a broad pale-white snow slope extending into the distance under a light icy-blue sky, with blue-white fog that obscures the far horizon. Add raised pale-blue snow banks along both sides of the approximately 22-unit-wide run. Scatter stylized evergreen pine trees along the left and right edges, varying their scale and rotation; the trees should cast soft shadows. Add subtle falling snow particles throughout the scene.

The player is a simple low-poly red sled at the bottom center of the view: a wide red/orange rectangular sled base with a dark blue-green raised seat, plus two narrow translucent icy-blue runners. Keep the sled near the camera while the slope, obstacles, and gates move toward it to create the forward-motion effect. The sled can steer horizontally across the run, clamped to a limited range; while steering, visibly bank/rotate it slightly around its forward axis and smoothly follow the movement with the camera. Use soft directional shadows, bright ambient/hemisphere lighting, a pastel winter palette, and restrained fog for the minimal stylized presentation.

Gameplay is an endless run. Before play, show a centered translucent white rounded panel with the title “Alpine Drift,” the text “Carve through the powder. Dodge the pines.”, a prominent coral “Start Run” button, and the hint “A / D or ← / → to steer · touch buttons on mobile.” Once started, the panel disappears. The sled automatically travels downhill at an initial speed of about 8.5 units per second, with speed increasing very slightly over time. Increase the displayed distance continuously in meters. Spawn/recycle dark blue low-poly snow-rock obstacles (short faceted cylinders/cones) at varying horizontal positions across the slope; recycle them behind the player to far ahead at randomized positions so the run continues indefinitely. If the sled comes within roughly 1 unit horizontally and 1.2 units longitudinally of a rock, end the run immediately.

Also place translucent cyan-blue checkpoint gates across the slope at irregular horizontal positions. Each gate consists of two thin vertical icy posts about 2.5 units high and a thin horizontal top bar, spanning a small opening. Move gates toward the sled with the course motion; when a gate passes the player, count it once and update the gate counter, then recycle it ahead at a randomized position. Passing gates is for scoring/counting and is not a separate win condition.

The HUD is always visible over the canvas: upper-left uppercase/letter-spaced “ALPINE DRIFT,” and upper-right rounded translucent white pills reading “Distance 0 m” and “Gates 0,” with the values updating during the run. Include large touch-friendly translucent rounded buttons at the bottom left and bottom right containing left and right triangle arrows; these should work with press-and-hold on touch/pointer input. Also support keyboard A/D and left/right arrow keys, with input preventing page scrolling. On collision, stop movement and show the centered panel again, changing its heading to “Run Over,” its message to “You carved [floor distance] m and cleared [gate count] gates.”, and its button text to “Ride Again.” Clicking it resets distance, gate count, sled position, obstacle/gate positions and starts a fresh run. Keep the interface responsive and preserve the soft glassy white/coral/cool-blue visual style.
