Make your own game

AFTER IMPACT was built by Darsh Pathak with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix AFTER IMPACT opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for AFTER IMPACT

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a first-person 3D atmospheric exploration game titled "AFTER IMPACT". The player is an investigator entering a nighttime forest aircraft crash site. Use an FPS camera with mouse look and keyboard movement, plus jumping; begin at the edge of the scene facing the wreck, with a small center reticle. The environment is a large wet forest floor covered with a repeating leaf-and-dirt texture, scattered fallen branches, rocks, dense stylized low-poly trees and dead trees, dim blue moonlight, heavy dark fog, and a nighttime HDRI background. Trees should subtly sway in the wind. Light the area primarily with cool moonlight and a localized pale crash-site glow, keeping the scene dark and uneasy; the player can toggle a forward-facing flashlight with F, initially OFF, which brightly illuminates a limited cone ahead.

Build the crash site as a large damaged aircraft wreck in the clearing near the center: a long partially open/torn metallic fuselage raised above the ground, exposed curved ribs, a broken wing, torn tail fin, dark interior floor, rows of damaged blocky seats and seat bases, scattered luggage and aircraft debris, a separated cockpit fragment, pale illuminated cockpit glass, small red warning lights, broken interior lamps, and emergency equipment/cases. Include a small glowing flight recorder inside/near the wreck at approximately the center of the site, and a subtle circular extraction marker at the starting/approach point away from the wreck.

The core objective loop is: start with the HUD objective "Investigate the crash site"; explore the clearing and approach the wreck; when close enough, show the contextual prompt "E RECOVER FLIGHT RECORDER" and let E recover the recorder. On recovery, change the objective to "Return to the extraction point" and show the clue/status message "FLIGHT RECORDER RECOVERED". When the player returns toward the extraction marker after recovering it, complete the objective and show "EXTRACTION COMPLETE" with the clue "CASE CLOSED". Do not add combat or enemies: tension comes from darkness, environmental audio cues, and changing calm.

Implement an uncertainty/horror atmosphere system with a CALM percentage beginning at 100%. At irregular intervals, trigger one of these text/audio events: "METALLIC SOUND DETECTED" near the wreck, "MOVEMENT IN THE TREES", or "RADIO INTERFERENCE". Reduce calm by a small amount for metallic sounds or tree movement and by a larger amount for radio interference. Play short noise bursts for these events and introduce a low heartbeat pulse when calm falls below roughly 72%; the heartbeat intensity increases as calm decreases. The crash light may briefly brighten during the metallic sound event. Track and display elapsed time in minutes:seconds.

Use a restrained cinematic HUD over the game view. Upper left: spaced-out title "AFTER IMPACT", then "CALM: 100%", "TIME: 00:00", and "OBJECTIVE: Investigate the crash site". Upper right: right-aligned "FLASHLIGHT: OFF" and a changing clue line initially reading "NO SIGNAL". Bottom left: "FOREST AIRCRAFT CRASH" and the coordinates "28.6139° N, 77.2090° E". Center: a tiny pale circular reticle. Near the lower center, show the interaction prompt only when close to the recorder. Bottom right: "CLICK TO ENTER • F FLASHLIGHT • E INTERACT • ESC PAUSE". Support ESC pause with a dark translucent full-screen overlay labeled "PAUSED", the text "ESC TO RESUME", and a RESUME button; freeze controls and gameplay while paused. Keep the visual style grounded in the supplied reference: dark teal/blue night lighting, wet reflective ground, muted gray metal, scattered warm red warning lights, fog, low-poly environmental forms, and understated pale blue-gray typography with letter spacing.
