Make your own game

Whispering Relic was built by Hafiz Muhmmad with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Whispering Relic opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Whispering Relic

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a small, fully playable 3D third-person village exploration game titled “Whispering Relic.” Use Three.js-style rendering with a perspective camera (55-degree field of view) following the player from behind at about 6 units distance. The player is a stylized low-poly/blocky humanoid seen mostly from the back, initially positioned on the south side of the village, and can walk with WASD or arrow keys, look around by click-dragging, and jump with Space. Movement should feel like a simple character controller with approximately 4.2 move speed, jump speed 8, and gravity -22; keep the camera following the player as they move.

Set the scene in a bright, peaceful low-poly fantasy village: a sky-blue background with matching atmospheric fog, a large flat green grass ground, and a circular tan-brown village plaza in the center. Place two chunky dark-roofed modular houses on the west and east sides of the plaza, several stylized conifer trees around the edges, a rock/cliff block toward the north, and a sequence of brown/orange hexagonal path-crossing tiles running from the south toward the plaza and north. Use warm directional sunlight with soft shadows and cool ambient fill lighting. Use simple Kenney-like blocky character and building assets, with shadows enabled.

Place the player near the south end of the path at (0, 0, 7). Add three stationary animated-idle villagers: Elder Mira (character-b model) near (-2, 0, 1), Scout Ren (character-c model) near (3, 0, -3), and Merchant Ivo (character-d model) near (4, 0, 3). Characters should be colorful, faceted, toy-like humanoids. The player model is character-a, scaled to about 0.75 and facing toward the village. The village should be explorable without combat.

Implement the exact quest “The Lost Relic” as a four-step interaction chain. Show a fixed HUD quest panel in the upper-left: a dark translucent rounded rectangle with a thin gold border, gold uppercase heading “QUEST · THE LOST RELIC,” and current objective text. Begin with: “Find Elder Mira and ask about the relic.” When the player is within about 2.1 units of any villager, show a gold “Talk” button at the lower-right; hide it otherwise and while dialogue is open. Pressing Talk interacts with the nearest villager and opens a centered-bottom dark translucent dialogue panel with the speaker name in gold, dialogue text, and a “Next” button.

At the start, talking to Elder Mira shows these two lines in order: “The Moonstone Relic vanished from the shrine last night.” then “Scout Ren saw a trail leading north. Ask him what he remembers.” After the conversation closes, update the objective to: “Ask Scout Ren where the relic was last seen.” Talking to Scout Ren shows: “The trail ends at the old shrine beyond the trees.” then “I heard a humming sound there before the fog rolled in.” Afterward update the objective to: “Search the old shrine beyond the north path.”

Once the Scout Ren conversation is complete, create the lost relic at approximately (0, -0.2, -7), beyond the north end of the path. It is a small shrine-like collectible composed of a dark purple low-poly cylindrical base, a hovering/glowing turquoise octahedral gem above it, and a thin gold torus ring around the gem/base area. Give it a subtle vertical bob and slow rotation, with the gem visibly emissive. When the player comes within 2 units of the relic, count it as collected, hide the relic, change the objective to “Return to Elder Mira with the relic.”, and immediately open an automatic dialogue from “A whisper from the shrine” saying: “The relic warms in your hands. Return to Elder Mira.”

After collecting it, return to Elder Mira and press Talk. Show the line: “You found it! The Moonstone Relic will protect our village once more.” Then finish the quest: hide the objective text and display the green completion message “Relic recovered — the village is safe.” in the quest panel. For interactions with villagers at the wrong quest stage, show the fallback line “The village is quiet today.”, using “Merchant Ivo” as the merchant’s speaker name and the character’s normal name/label for other fallback interactions. Do not add combat, enemies, inventories, health, timers, or extra quest systems.

Style the HUD to match the scene: white/cream text, gold headings and buttons, dark navy translucent panels with rounded corners, subtle blur and shadow. Keep a bottom-center hint visible during normal play reading “WASD / arrows move · click-drag to look · Space jumps”; on touch/coarse-pointer devices move this hint and dialogue/button layout upward to avoid the mobile controls area. Ensure the game starts immediately with the initial quest objective and supports responsive resizing.
