Was Led Astray was built by PastChangingFieldMouse1104 with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix Was Led Astray opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Create a dark, atmospheric 3D narrative exploration RPG titled “Was Led Astray,” set in Tate, a Pacific Northwest Gothic town. Use a top-down/isometric-feeling third-person camera over a compact navigable outdoor scene, with the camera following the player. The world should be rendered in Three.js-like low-poly 3D with soft shadows, ACES-style cinematic tone mapping, blue-black fog, and a deep navy background. The ground is a large dark circular terrain. The player is Michael Demiurgos, represented by a simple pale glowing capsule-like humanoid with a faint blue emissive tint and a thin cyan halo ring hovering around the head; he begins near the school and can move around the environment. Provide standard top-down character movement controls and keep the camera approximately 15 units away and elevated. Build one connected space containing three destinations along a roughly north/south path: the Reffie Gym/school at the north, Old Lake in the middle, and the Tofet Ruins farther south. The school area has a dark rectangular hall, a green/gold banner, and is described as dressed for a formal dance; the banner says “Baal” in the story. The lake is a broad blue-green rectangular water area with fog and an ominous supernatural presence beneath it. The Tofet is a ruined sacrificial site beside the winter-swollen lake, represented by a dark altar and a glowing red Moloch core. Scatter low-poly trees, dead trees, and rocks around the route. At the Tofet, include a large animated horned demon/Baal spirit model facing the player, with subtle idle motion and a slight oscillation. Start with a full-screen title overlay over the dark blue 3D backdrop. The title card is centered, translucent nearly-black with a thin blue-gray border and soft shadow. Show the cyan uppercase eyebrow “A PACIFIC NORTHWEST GOTHIC RPG,” the large cream serif title “Was Led Astray,” and this premise text: “In Tate, every dance has a devil. Explore the school, the lake, and the ruined Tofet. Build trust, gather evidence, and decide whether Michael breaks the cycle—or lets it continue.” Include a gold button labeled “Begin August 27, 2025.” After starting, show a fixed HUD with a top-left badge reading “WAS LED ASTRAY” and the current date, and a top-right badge reading “Michael Demiurgos · Listening” (change the status to “Awakened” if the divine state is triggered). On the right, show a translucent panel with the current location title and subtitle, relationship meters for Yvette and Azazel, an Evidence meter, a current objective, and buttons for “Go to School,” “Go to Old Lake,” “Go to Tofet,” and “Advance the calendar.” Use a restrained palette: cream text, muted blue-gray secondary text, gold accents, cyan highlights, and dark translucent panels. On mobile, allow the right panel to move toward the bottom above the dialogue area. The story is calendar-driven. Dates, in order, are August 27, 2025; September 12, 2025; October 18, 2025; November 4, 2025; December 1, 2025; January 16, 2026; and February 13, 2026. Start with Evidence 0, Yvette relationship 35, Azazel relationship 35, and all visited flags false. The initial objective before enough evidence is “Look for details the town wants you to ignore.” After Evidence reaches 2 during the early dates, use “Keep your friends close and learn what the school is preparing.” During the later dates use “Decide whether to join the Student Council, gather proof, and protect Joseph.” On the final date use “The Student Baal begins tonight. Choose what kind of hero you will be.” The Evidence bar should fill in 20% increments per evidence point, capped visually at 100%. When the player visits the school for the first time on August 27, open a bottom-left dialogue panel. Yvette says: “The banners say “Baal,” but everyone laughs when I ask why. Michael, look at the exits. Look at who is watching the doors.” Offer three buttons: “Notice the statue at center stage” (increase evidence by 1 and Yvette by 8, and show a toast “Evidence found: the horned storm icon.”); “Tell Yvette to stop digging” (decrease Yvette by 4 and show “Yvette remembers the fear in your voice.”); no other invented result. Subsequent school visits use Eric: “You look like someone who wants answers. The dance is harmless. It is tradition. You should come tonight.” Choices are “Ask who benefits from the tradition” (evidence +1 and toast “Eric smiles without blinking. Evidence found.”), “Trust Eric for now” (Yvette -2 and toast “The smile follows you down the hall.”), and “Tell him Baal is not harmless” (set the divine/awakened status, evidence +1, and toast “For one second, the gym lights turn green.”). On visiting Old Lake, show Azazel saying: “The lake carries voices farther than people think. Feed the coypu. Watch the water. If something follows you home, tell me.” Choices: “Study the ripples” (evidence +1, Azazel +10, toast “A second shadow moves beneath the surface.”); “Ask about his fall” (Azazel +8, toast “Azazel says the truth is heavier than any weapon.”); and “Leave before dark” (set passive, toast “You choose not to know.”). On visiting the Tofet, show Joseph Gardener saying: “I thought this was a park. Why are there names carved into the stones?” Choices: “Protect Joseph and lead him away” (set protectedJoseph true, Azazel +10, toast “Joseph stays behind you.”); “Search the runes” (evidence +2, toast “The cycle is not a myth.”); and “Wait for the ritual to reveal itself” (set passive, toast “The fog closes around the altar.”). The calendar button advances one date at a time while below the final date, showing a toast such as “Time advances to [date].” Upon reaching February 13, also show “February 13: the Student Baal begins tonight.” Pressing the calendar button again on the final date opens the final choice dialogue from Thymea Thoth: “Tonight the school dances for the storm. The crown is ready. The vessel is willing. You can stand with us—or stand beneath us.” Offer four story outcomes: “Refuse and expose the council” (whistleblower ending); “Join the council, then turn on it” (set Student Council joined, add 2 evidence, martyr ending); “Step into the gym and challenge Baal” (set divine/awakened and champion ending); and “Tell Azazel to end this without you” (set passive and observer ending). End with a full-screen dark overlay and a centered ending card. Label it “THE CYCLE HAS SPOKEN,” show a large serif ending title and narrative, plus stats in the form “Evidence: [number] · Yvette: [number] · Azazel: [number] · Replay to choose another path.” Include a gold “Play the story again” button that reloads/resets the story. Use these exact ending titles and text: THE WHISTLEBLOWER — “You refused the invitation to become part of the machine. Tate calls you unstable, Joseph is lost to the cycle, and Judy sits beside you beneath a sky without stars. You failed to save everyone—but you did not look away.” THE MARTYR — “You entered the council to expose it from within. The Tofet took your body, but your evidence survived. Azazel carries your name into the storm, and the demon learns that even sacrifice can become testimony.” THE DIVINE CHAMPION — “The spirit reaches for the flame. It fails. You speak the name of the One above the cycle, and lightning falls through the roof without touching a single innocent student. Baal is not defeated by dominance, but by being seen clearly.” THE PASSIVE OBSERVER — “You chose quiet. Azazel ends the threat elsewhere, Joseph disappears into the fog, and the school returns to its calendar. The cycle breaks for a moment—but no one learns why.” Dialogue should appear in a wide dark translucent panel at bottom left, with a small gold uppercase speaker name, cream serif dialogue text, and vertically stacked full-width choice buttons. Choices update state immediately and can produce temporary centered toast notifications. Keep the experience focused on exploration, relationship/evidence tracking, atmosphere, and branching narrative; do not add combat, inventory, quests, enemies beyond the visible Baal spirit, or mechanics not described above.
