Vice Run was built by Alikhan Merchant with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix Vice Run opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Create a browser-playable 3D arcade driving game titled “Vice Run,” built with a dark neon, low-poly city aesthetic and a third-person chase camera. The player drives a stylized hot-pink/magenta low-poly car with a pale translucent cabin, dark bumpers, and four black wheels. Use a compact square city approximately 220 by 220 world units: a flat dark green-black ground, a regular grid of wide charcoal roads crossing at roughly 34-unit intervals, cream lane-marker dashes, and blocks filled with irregular clusters of chunky rectangular buildings in muted blue, purple, mauve, teal, olive, and burgundy. Add faint distant pink/orange glowing skyline shapes, a deep purple-black sky/background, fog, soft shadows, and warm/cool lighting. Keep the camera elevated behind and slightly above the car, smoothly following its position and heading while looking toward the car. Core loop: begin with a centered intro card. The player presses a drive key/button to start, then drives around the road grid collecting floating gold cash pickups and surviving police pursuit for as long as possible. Place 18 gold, glowing, rotating hexagonal/cylindrical pickups at random road positions; each pickup bobs vertically, awards00, increases wanted by 0.34 up to 5, and respawns at another road position when collected. The player car has speed, heading, health, score/cash, and wanted state. Accelerate with W or Up Arrow, brake/reverse with S or Down Arrow, and steer left/right with A/D or Left/Right Arrow. Apply acceleration, braking, friction when no pedal is pressed, speed limits of about -14 to 34, and steering that becomes stronger with movement speed. Clamp the car inside the city bounds. Include four moving traffic cars in pink, orange/yellow, green, and white. They are simple copies of the stylized car model, travel along road axes, reverse direction at the world edges, and damage the player on close collision: reduce health by 8, briefly reverse/slow the player, and increase wanted by 0.8. Police cars are blue versions of the same model with a small flashing cyan/red light bar. As wanted rises above about 0.7, spawn pursuing police cars, with the target count increasing by the integer wanted level and a maximum of 7. Police steer toward the player and move faster as wanted rises; collisions damage health by 14 and briefly stun the police. If no police is close, wanted gradually cools down over time. End the run when health reaches zero: stop gameplay, show a centered “BUSTED” card with final cash and the instruction to press any drive key to restart, and reset the car, health, score, wanted, police, and pickup set on restart. Press P to pause/unpause during play. Overlay a responsive HUD with translucent nearly-black glass panels and rounded borders. Top-left show CASH, the current dollar amount (initially $0), and a horizontal health bar with a pink-to-yellow gradient. Top-right show WANTED, five star slots that fill gold from ☆ to ★ according to wanted level, and a changing objective: initially “Collect cash and shake the cops.” At wanted 2 or higher say “Cops are active. Break line of sight to cool down.” At wanted 4 or higher say “The whole city is on you — stay moving.” Include a large centered intro panel reading “VICE RUN” in bright glowing pink and “Drive with WASD or arrow keys. Collect cash, dodge police, survive the chase.” Hide it once the player starts. At the bottom, provide mobile/touch controls: left and right arrow buttons on the lower-left and tall GAS and BRAKE buttons stacked on the lower-right; buttons should visibly react while held. Show a small “P = pause” hint above the right controls on desktop. Use responsive sizing, safe-area-aware margins, and touch-friendly controls. Expose game state APIs if supported: getGameState should report player position, speed, heading, health, wanted, score, police positions, pickup count, paused/started/gameOver; setGameState should allow patching player values, score, paused, started, and gameOver.More free browser games
