Veyrfall was built by Grant Gatling with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix Veyrfall opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Create a browser-first 3D third-person/top-down action RPG story slice titled “VEYRFALL // FIRST MEASURE.” Set the scene in Haven Below, a dark civic square built around a Deepwell. Use a fixed/soft-follow perspective camera looking down at a playable character, with a moody low-poly fantasy style: near-black blue-gray background and fog, basalt ground, muted indigo/violet shadows, amber/gold highlights, teal glowing civic magic, and restrained red enemy accents. Light the square with cool ambient/rim light and warm directional light. The playable character is the Unwritten Saint: a simple readable humanoid silhouette with a pale metallic/light-gray body, dark blue angular cloak, and a small glowing amber halo ring above the head. Start the character at the south end of the square. Build the level as a public plaza with a cross-shaped brown stone path, dark blue water channels on the left and right, narrow bridge slabs crossing the water, four blocky civic repair halls with amber roof caps, corner civic pillars, scattered low-poly trees and rocks, and a central Deepwell at the north end. The Deepwell is a short stone cylinder with a glowing teal civic seal on top and a rotating/pulsing amber ring around it; place a floating label above it reading “DEEPWELL // INSPECT.” The game is a short sequential objective loop. Before starting, show a full-screen dark radial-gradient title overlay with the eyebrow “A PLAYABLE STORY SLICE,” large title “VEYRFALL,” subtitle “The First Measure — enter Haven Below, survive the Severed Law, and decide what freedom must carry,” an amber “BEGIN THE MEASURE” button, and the hint “WASD / arrows to move · Shift to run · Space to jump · touch joystick on mobile.” When the player starts, hide this overlay and allow movement using WASD/arrow keys, running with Shift, jumping through the movement controller, and mobile touch joystick support. Use a top HUD bar showing “VEYRFALL // FIRST MEASURE” and the current objective. Show a compact upper-left stats panel with ORIGIN = UNWRITTEN, VIGOR = 10, LEDGER = 0 initially, DEEPWELL = UNSTABLE, and an amber health meter. Show a bottom dialogue panel initially spoken by Rhea Calder: “The city measured what you were useful for. Haven Below will ask what you are willing to carry.” A CONTINUE button advances to Olan Marr’s line: “The Deepwell has started enforcing words that have no verbs left. ‘Remain.’ ‘Divide.’ ‘Wait.’ Find the seal before the commands find us.” Advance once more to a System warning: “The Severed Law is learning your rhythm. Break its pattern. Move, strike, and do not repeat yourself forever.” Then hide the dialogue. The initial objective is “Reach the Deepwell and inspect the broken civic seal.” When the player approaches the Deepwell within a short radius, automatically inspect it, add 5 to the Ledger, show a toast such as “Ledger updated: you investigated before striking,” and change the objective to “Break the three Severed Law Wisps.” Spawn exactly three floating law-wisp enemies around the square. Each is a glowing dark crimson faceted/icosahedron core with a violet rotating ring, and each drifts in a small oscillating pattern while turning toward the player. Their contact range damages the player gradually, reducing health; if health reaches zero, restore health to full, reset the player to the starting position, and show “The contradiction rejected the outcome. Try again.” Give the player a close-range attack triggered by Space and left mouse/touch click after the game has started. It should hit a living wisp within roughly melee range, remove it, add 3 Ledger, add 100 score, and show “Severed Law broken — +3 Ledger.” The player must defeat all three wisps. Once all are defeated, update the objective to “Choose the obligation Haven Below will carry,” hide dialogue, and open a centered choice panel titled “The Second Measure.” Its text should say: “The Deepwell can be stabilized, redirected, or opened to every district. No answer is clean. Choose the obligation you will carry first.” Provide four visible choices: PUBLIC ASSEMBLY — “Share emergency authority with witnesses.”; EMERGENCY STEWARD — “Act quickly through one accountable keeper.”; GUILD COMPACT — “Let skilled repairers own the burden together.”; DISTRIBUTED HYBRID — “Build a slower system that cannot belong to one hand.” When one choice is selected, close the choice panel, mark the story slice complete, set the Deepwell state/HUD to the selected choice, add 12 Ledger, and show a toast “World-Age flag recorded: [CHOICE].” Resume the dialogue panel with Olan Marr speaking a choice-specific response: for Public Assembly, “Then witnesses will carry the water with us. Slow, but no one owns the whole answer.”; for Emergency Steward, “One keeper can move before panic spreads. We will have to watch the keeper closely.”; for Guild Compact, “Skilled hands will hold the gates. We will need rules that stop skill becoming ownership.”; for Distributed Hybrid, “No single hand gets the whole burden. We will build the slower thing.” Keep the interaction readable and grounded rather than adding unshown systems: this slice has one playable Haven Below area, one Deepwell inspection trigger, three drifting enemies, health reset on defeat, a Ledger counter, score internally, dialogue progression, and one four-way civic obligation decision. Use clean ivory typography, amber uppercase labels and borders, dark translucent panels, subtle shadows, and responsive layouts that work on desktop and mobile. Do not add unrelated weapons, inventory, quests, bosses, or campaign regions beyond what is described in this playable slice.
