Make your own game

Turbo Loop was built by pattoncbp with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Turbo Loop opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Turbo Loop

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a browser-based 3D arcade racing game titled “Turbo Loop.” Use a stylized low-poly Three.js-like presentation with a third-person chase camera following a blue stock/race car from behind and slightly above. The car should have a chunky boxy blue body, lighter hood, pale blue windshield/cabin, white center stripe, dark wheels, front/rear bars, spoiler, headlights and red taillights, with a soft circular shadow beneath it. The car drives on a large dark asphalt stadium/capsule-shaped circuit: two long straight sections joined by broad semicircular turns. Surround the asphalt with a pale gray sidewalk and orange-red curbs, plus subtle blue outer and warm orange inner road-edge glows. Put a green grass infield inside the loop with a simple central blocky tower/plaza. Beyond the track, show a stylized city grid with dark roads, many blocky skyline buildings of varied heights, roofs and some pale glowing window planes. Add tall roadside lamp poles with warm lamps, a bright gradient blue sky, sun glow, drifting animated white cloud layers, soft fog, shadows and a subtle full-screen vignette.

The core game is a race against three AI cars over three laps. The rivals are red/crimson, green, and purple, each visually matching the same simple stock-car model, following the circuit automatically in separate lanes and having slightly different speeds; they can also use boost pads. Start the player near the start/finish line and place the three rivals slightly behind. The track has a start/finish stripe and three visible checkpoint markers around the loop: colored rotating posts with translucent vertical beams (yellow, green, and blue). Checkpoints must be hit in sequence; only completing the sequence and crossing the lap gate advances the lap. The race begins from a centered translucent dark intro panel with the title, instructions, and a Start Race button. Show a centered translucent tip pill during play with guidance about drifting, boost pads, and upgrades.

Implement arcade driving rather than realistic simulation. Desktop controls: W or Up Arrow accelerates, S or Down Arrow brakes/reverses, A/D or Left/Right Arrow steers, P toggles pause, and R restarts the race. Mobile/touch controls appear as four large translucent circular buttons at the bottom: LEFT, RIGHT, BRAKE, and GAS. Steering at speed creates visible slip/drift: the car heading and travel direction diverge slightly, with grip upgrades reducing the slip. Accelerating raises speed, braking lowers it, releasing controls applies drag, and driving off the asphalt onto green grass strongly reduces speed; keep the car constrained near the circuit with a gentle snap-back if it leaves the outer area. Add wheel rotation while moving and a blue glow/light under or behind the car during nitro.

Place five glowing cyan rectangular boost pads around the circuit. Driving over one gives a short nitro burst, temporarily raises speed and adds a brief white screen flash; pads pulse and have a short cooldown. Place 18 floating gold torus-shaped coins along alternating sides of the racing lane. Coins bob and rotate, disappear when collected, and add one coin to the bank; respawn all collected coins when a new lap begins. Completing a lap awards four coins. Finishing awards a place-based coin bonus. Include a persistent upgrade dock with buttons for ENGINE, GRIP, and NITRO. Coins can purchase up to three levels in each category with escalating costs: engine costs 6, 10, 16 and increases acceleration/top speed; grip costs 6, 10, 16 and improves steering/drift control; nitro costs 8, 12, 18 and increases boost duration/strength. Upgrades remain when starting the next race. Disable upgrade buttons when unaffordable or maxed and label them with their current level and cost.

The top HUD should use compact rounded translucent dark panels with white bold text and show Lap 1 / 3, Position out of 4, Coins, race Time, speed in mph, and Best lap time. Update position dynamically based on player and AI race progress. On the final lap, completing the ordered checkpoint sequence finishes the race, pauses the game and displays a centered “Race complete” panel with finishing place, total time, best lap, coin total, and a Race Again button. Track best lap time across races. P should show a centered Paused panel with a Resume button. Use responsive styling so HUD works on desktop and mobile, with safe-area-aware bottom controls. Start looping stylized engine audio and simple race music after the first user interaction: engine pitch/volume should respond to speed and drift, and use light synth chord/bass loops plus short chimes for checkpoints, coins, boosts, upgrades and lap completion.
