Trail Rider was built by Leland Hochstetler with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix Trail Rider opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Create a simple third-person 3D game titled “Trail Rider” using a low-poly, blocky visual style. The player is a small ranch rider made from primitive shapes: blue rectangular torso, purple/dark trousers, skin-colored spherical head, brown cylindrical cowboy hat with a wide brim, and simple rectangular arms and legs. Place the rider in a small open grassy field bounded by an invisible square movement area roughly 48 by 48 world units. Use a bright blue sky, light atmospheric fog, strong soft shadows, and a circular green ground plane. Add a broad tan dirt trail represented by a flat ring on the grass, plus 26 stylized pine trees spaced around the outer field; each tree has a brown low-poly cylindrical trunk and a dark-green cone canopy. Do not add fences, barn, collectibles, enemies, quests, score, health, or other upgrades. Place one stationary low-poly brown horse near the starting rider. Build it from simple primitives: a large brown rectangular body, angled rectangular neck, rectangular head and lighter muzzle, dark mane and tail, dark-brown rectangular saddle, and four pairs/segments of brown upper legs with pale lower legs/hooves. The horse faces along its local forward direction and gently sways/animates. Animate its legs while moving, with a subtle body bob. The rider has basic walking leg animation; while mounted, position the rider above/at the saddle, turn them with the horse, and bend their legs into a riding pose. Core loop: begin on foot near the horse, with the rider at the origin and the horse around (2.5, 0, 0). Walk across the field to approach it. When within about 2.6 world units, allow mounting by pressing E or tapping the large gold “Mount” button. If too far away, pressing the action simply displays “Walk closer to the horse first.” Once mounted, movement controls move and rotate the horse, the rider follows at the saddle, and the player can ride around the field. Press E or tap the button again to dismount; place the rider beside/behind the horse and return to walking. Keep the player/horse within approximately x and z = -24 to 24. Track distance travelled internally, but do not add a score display. Controls: keyboard WASD or arrow keys move in the corresponding world directions; Shift makes the on-foot movement faster (sprint); E toggles mount/dismount. On mobile, show a touch-friendly directional pad with translucent square buttons arranged as up, left, down, and right arrows, plus a large gold Mount/Get Off action button. Buttons should support press-and-hold movement. Use a smooth third-person follow camera: on foot follow behind the rider at about 6.5 units, looking around rider chest height; while mounted follow behind the horse at a slightly higher camera height. Camera orientation follows the facing direction and transitions smoothly. HUD: overlay a dark translucent rounded top bar across the upper screen with the title “Trail Rider” and subtitle “Walk to the horse and ride it.” At the right, show a pill status reading “On foot” with a glowing light-blue dot initially; change it to “Riding” with a warm gold dot while mounted. Show a centered dark translucent rounded message panel above the bottom controls. Initially say “Move with WASD or the arrows. Press E or tap Mount.” When near the horse say “Press E or tap Mount to ride the horse.” When mounted say “You are riding — move to trot around, press E or tap Get Off to dismount.” After dismounting say “Back on foot — walk near the horse and press E or tap Mount.” The action button text changes between “Mount” and “Get Off.” Include small keyboard help near the action control: “Keyboard: WASD move · E mount/dismount · Shift sprint on foot.” Make the interface responsive for desktop and mobile, with safe-area spacing, rounded translucent panels, blur, and touch-action disabled so controls work cleanly.
