Make your own game

Symbiote Clash was built by Cameron Mains with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Symbiote Clash opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Symbiote Clash

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a playable Three.js 3D arena brawler titled “Symbiote Clash.” Use a dark comic-horror visual style with an almost black/navy circular arena floor, soft fog, strong cool-white directional lighting, blue accent light, and red accent light. The camera is a smooth elevated third-person perspective, positioned behind and above the player while looking toward the space between the player and the rival; it should follow the action and subtly shake on hits. Make the arena a large flat circular cylinder with a glowing blue/dark boundary ring. Above and around the arena, generate a dense canopy of suspended curved tubular tendrils/web lines in alternating vivid red and pale electric blue, matching the prominent tangled lines visible throughout the screenshot. Add shadows from the tendrils and characters onto the floor.

The player is a procedural stylized blue-black symbiote creature: compact humanoid body with elongated torso, separate head and jaw, bright white slanted eyes, arms, legs, pointed claw-like accents, and multiple thin blue tendrils extending from its sides/back. Place it initially near the left/front side of the arena. The enemy is a larger red rival symbiote boss with the same procedural silhouette, dark red/black body, glowing vivid red tendril/claw accents, and white eyes; place it initially across the arena. Animate their tendrils with subtle periodic swaying and make the boss pulse slightly.

Implement the core combat loop: the player must defeat the red rival by reducing its 260 HP to zero before the player’s 100 HP reaches zero. Show a start overlay titled “Symbiote Clash,” explaining that the player controls the blue-black symbiote, dodges the red rival, harvests tendril energy, and tears down its health bar. Include a Start Fight button, then show a victory overlay titled “Rival Broken” with the final tendril score, or a defeat overlay titled “You Were Consumed” with advice to dash out of warning circles and strike during openings, plus a Fight Again button.

Controls: WASD or arrow keys move the player in the arena; clicking/tapping the 3D canvas or pressing the on-screen ATTACK button performs a forward tendril lash; Space or the on-screen DASH button performs a quick surge/dash. Also provide mobile controls: a translucent circular virtual joystick at bottom left and circular DASH and ATTACK buttons at bottom right. Keep the player inside the arena boundary. Movement should accelerate and damp smoothly, and the creature should face its movement direction. Attacks have a short cooldown, visually create a temporary curved blue tendril lash, and damage the boss only if it is within roughly 4.7 world units and in front of the player. Successful hits deal 12 damage plus up to 8 additional damage based on the current combo, briefly stun the boss, increase combo and score, and cause a small camera shake. The dash has a cooldown, gives brief invulnerability, and leaves a short white tendril trail.

Give the red rival simple AI: it chases the player when farther away, backs off slightly at close range, stays inside the arena, and periodically attacks when within about 10 units. Its attacks should create a glowing translucent red circular warning zone on the floor in front of it, with about 0.55 seconds of telegraph time; then the zone turns solid red and damages the player if still within about 1.75 units. Damage is 16 normally or 20 during the boss’s enraged phase. Set the boss to phase 2 below 45% HP, with faster attack timing. The player can avoid these warning circles using movement or the invulnerable dash. Show a temporary red lash from the boss toward the player when it attacks.

Scatter floating blue tendril-energy pickups around the arena. Use small glowing blue faceted/icosahedral shapes that hover and rotate. Start with seven and periodically spawn more, up to eight active pickups; pickups expire after about 15 seconds. Collecting one within close range adds 8 score, increases combo, and heals 5 HP without exceeding max health. Maintain a combo timer of roughly two seconds, resetting combo when it expires or when the player is hit. Display a HUD fixed over the game with two labeled horizontal meters at the top: YOU with a blue-white player health bar and RIVAL with a red-orange boss health bar. Below them show “Combos: [value] · Tendrils: [score].” Add bottom instructional text: “WASD / arrows to move · Click or Attack to lash · Space / Dash to surge.” On small/touch screens position the tips above the mobile controls. Use responsive full-window rendering, no logos or copyrighted character names/assets, and retain a polished dark arena presentation with emissive red/blue materials, fog, procedural geometry, and visible shadows.
