Make your own game

Sunny Steps was built by Ashik ur Rahman with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Sunny Steps opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Sunny Steps

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Recreate “Sunny Steps,” a colorful low-poly third-person 3D city-courier exploration game. Use a bright blue sky background with light atmospheric fog, sunny soft shadows, and an elevated over-the-shoulder camera following the player from behind at roughly 6 units distance. The world is a small flat city grid on green grass: a dark gray north-south road about 5 units wide crossing a much wider east-west road, with repeated pale cream crosswalk stripes along the roads. Add a green park block in the northeast, with a pale path crossing it, several stylized trees, benches, and a pink kiosk at approximately the far end of the park. Surround the roads with simple colorful low-poly box houses/storefronts in pink, yellow, cyan, purple, green, and orange, each with a dark blue flat roof and a dark doorway. Include a couple of parked stylized race cars near the roads/park, matching the visible simple toy-like aesthetic.

The player is an original low-poly courier: a blue rounded capsule/cylindrical body, peach spherical head, and a flat yellow cone-like cap, viewed from behind. Start the player near the south side of the central intersection, beside a small orange delivery package. Place three glowing cyan-blue ring coins around town (roughly west/southwest, east/south, and east/northeast positions). Coins rotate and bob slightly; walking close to one collects it, hides it, and increments the objective. The mission begins with “Collect 3 coins” and “0 / 3,” plus the hint “Find the blue coins around town.” Once all three coins are collected, the player can pick up the orange package by walking close to it; then change the mission to “Deliver the package,” show “Go to the pink kiosk in the park,” and indicate that the package has been picked up. Completing the mission occurs when the player carrying the package reaches the pink kiosk in the park, then show a full-screen completion overlay reading “Mission complete,” “Delivery done!”, three stars, “You helped Sunny Steps stay on schedule,” and a “Play Again” button.

Provide a polished HUD matching the game: at startup, a full-screen translucent dark blue/teal gradient overlay with a rounded glass-like card titled “Sunny Steps,” subtitle “City Courier,” explanatory text about exploring the tiny colorful city, collecting blue coins, and delivering the package, and a yellow “Start Exploring” button. Include control instructions: WASD/arrows to walk, Shift to run, Space to jump; on phones use the joystick and jump button. During play, show a rounded dark translucent mission panel in the upper-left/top area, a small square minimap in the upper-right showing green terrain, dark road cross shapes, the park, uncollected blue coin dots, a pink kiosk marker, and a white player dot. Show a bottom-center hint panel and, when near a parked car, a “Drive” button at lower-right. The player may toggle a driving mode near a car; the UI changes to “Exit Car” and the hint says “Driving mode — steer with the joystick,” while otherwise returning to walking. Support keyboard movement and mobile virtual joystick/jump controls, with jumping, gravity, and running. Use simple Three.js-style primitive geometry and soft lighting/shadows, with no invented combat or extra systems.
