Make your own game

Street Run was built by Fairoz Basha with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Street Run opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Street Run

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Recreate "Street Run" as a simple playable third-person 3D mission in Three.js. Use a perspective camera following a blocky humanoid player from behind at roughly 6.2 units, with the player starting at (0, 0, 9). The player is a Kenney-style low-poly/blocky character (the visible model has a square head, dark hair/beard and eyebrows, warm tan/orange shirt, green pants and blocky limbs), with soft shadows and an idle animation; use walk while moving normally and sprint/run animation when running. Controls must support WASD and arrow keys, Shift to run, Space to jump, and a mobile virtual joystick. Movement speed is about 4.5, jump speed about 8, and gravity about -22. The only goal is to walk/run to the yellow objective at the getaway car: place a Kenney-style low-poly sedan at (0, 0, 1.5), facing approximately toward the player, surrounded by a bright glowing yellow-orange torus ring on the ground and a short vertical glowing yellow beam. When the player comes within 2.4 units of that location, hide the marker and switch the mission to complete. There are no enemies, combat, health, score, timer, or collectibles.

Build a stylized city-block environment on a large 70-by-70 flat ground plane colored muted blue-gray. Add four dark charcoal roads: two horizontal roads centered around z=-6 and z=22, each 70 by 8, and two vertical roads centered around x=-18 and x=18, each 8 by 28. Add small yellow lane dashes along the two horizontal roads, spaced across x from about -30 to 30. Put a muted gray circular central plaza, radius 7, centered around (0, 8). Place four dark building lots at approximately (-12,-12), (10,-12), (-12,28), and (10,28), each around 9 by 7, and load/place simple low-poly modular house props on those lots. Add slim dark street lamps with small glowing warm-yellow bulbs at the visible intersections/road edges: approximately (-7,-5), (7,-5), (-7,21), (7,21), (-18,4), (-18,14), (18,4), and (18,14). Use a muted blue-gray sky/background with matching atmospheric fog extending from about 24 to 72 units. Light the scene with a cool bright hemisphere light plus a warm directional sun from above/side, enable soft shadow casting and receiving, and use an understated low-poly/painted city aesthetic.

Overlay a fixed HUD over the game. In the upper-left, show a translucent very dark rounded panel with a thin light border, blur-like appearance, and compact width (about 360px maximum). Display the gold, letter-spaced uppercase title "STREET RUN", then the objective text "Reach the yellow marker by the getaway car.", then muted blue-gray status text "Walk with WASD / arrows. Mobile joystick is enabled.". In the upper-right place a dark translucent rounded-square reset button with a white circular-arrow glyph "↻"; clicking/tapping it resets the player to (0,0,9), makes the marker visible, and restores both original objective and status text. On desktop, show a small translucent dark help strip at bottom-left reading "WASD / arrows to move · Shift to run · Space to jump"; hide this strip on coarse/mobile pointers because the joystick is present. Keep the canvas full-screen, responsive, and prevent page scrolling. On completion, change the objective to "Mission complete — you found the getaway car." and the status to "Reset to run the slice again.". The reset control should work on pointer/touch input as well as mouse.
