Make your own game

Street Run was built by Ruan Samuel with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Street Run opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Street Run

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a playable 3D game titled "Street Run" as a compact top-down driving delivery game. Use an orthographic camera with a high, slightly front-facing overhead view that follows the taxi, keeping the vehicle near the center while the suburban city scrolls beneath it. Render a square-ish city area over a flat green ground plane with a dark charcoal road grid: broad vertical and horizontal roads crossing the scene, yellow rectangular lane markings repeated along the roads, and low-poly suburban buildings placed in the blocks between roads. Buildings should have colorful green/teal facades, gray roofs and walls, dark inset windows, and some small planter boxes with round green shrubs, matching a stylized Kenney-like low-poly aesthetic. Use soft bright daylight, ambient fog, and a pale blue background/sky color.

The player controls a yellow/orange taxi. Load or create a chunky low-poly taxi model with visible roof sign, windows, wheels/details, and a blocky driver character seated/associated with it; the taxi initially faces along its forward axis near world position (0,0). The vehicle drives forward and backward and steers left/right: keyboard WASD or arrow keys, with W/up moving forward, S/down moving backward, A/left and D/right steering. Steering rotates the taxi, with turning responsive while moving. Clamp the taxi to the playable city bounds, approximately x and z from -44 to 44. Add a boost: holding Shift (or Space) increases driving speed from roughly 6 to roughly 10; on touch devices, support screen zones where the user holds left/right steering regions, upper area for forward, bottom area for reverse, and a central lower boost zone.

The goal is repeated taxi deliveries. Place a bright glowing/flat green circular marker on the ground at the initial destination around world position (24, 0, -24). When the taxi comes within about 3 world units of the marker, award 100 points, increment the completed mission count, reduce the wanted value by 1 without going below zero, add 18 seconds to the countdown up to a maximum of 60 seconds, and move the marker to alternating distant corners/locations (the code uses positions such as -24,24 and 24,-24). Rotate the marker subtly so it is visibly active. The countdown starts at 60 seconds and runs continuously while the taxi is active; when it reaches zero, stop vehicle gameplay and set the game over state. Do not invent collisions, enemy cars, weapons, lives, or police chases: the only wanted mechanic is a value that rises slowly (capped at 5) while the taxi is close to the road-grid lines and falls by one on successful delivery.

Add a large translucent dark HUD panel floating prominently over the upper portion of the game view. It should display the gold title "STREET RUN", the instruction "Deliver the taxi to the green marker before time runs out", and a status line showing SCORE, WANTED, and TIME with the time rounded up to the next whole second. Include the controls line "WASD / arrows drive Shift boost touch: hold the screen zones" in light blue. Keep the HUD readable over the 3D world and update score, wanted, and time every frame. Use the visual style shown: clean sans-serif type, gold title/accent, white instructions, blue control hint, dark translucent rectangle, colorful geometric city, and a centered yellow taxi viewed from above.
